Worked well for our need. Confident and close but off the busy street so not slouch much noise

Very convenient location with easy walking distance to Wanfujing (including subway) and the Forbidden City. Staff was very friendly providing recommendations for more local restaurants in an otherwise touristy neighborhood.

Small rooms but close to Forbidden city and other tourist destnations

just in the right place, is not the best hotel, but good for your pocket

If you are taking a taxi from the airport, the drivers will have difficulty finding it, even if you have the address printed in Chinese. Pick a well known landmark nearby and have the address in Chinese. This should be helpful. The location is within walking distance of Forbidden City and Shopping Mall.

clearn and warm room, close to shopping and places

The hotel could use some updates and a refresh. Carpet is old and stained, and the bathrooms are getting a bit dingy as well. Clean though, and the location was fantastic. Close to the metro and lots of sights including Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Staff was helpful, restaurant was fine, although restaurant service was not good. All is all, recommended.

Beijing is very expensive, this hotel is cheap and good for the price, don't expect something extraordinary, but is the best located, is in almost the same block of the forbidden city, and near 3 blocks of a main av full of stores, and mc'donalds....

The internet was very slow. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room is nice. You might find people smoking in corridor but it seems its normal in China.

This hotel has a great location and staff very friendly & helpful. The first room here at this hotel was on the first floor and was a standard room very clean comfortable. I switched rooms during my stay and saved some money to a basement budget room and is basically the same room but smaller. Nice area and close to many sights. Will stay here again.

easy acces to subway line 1, large room, and the breakfast buffet correct.

It's very good location to every attractions, such as Forbidden City, Tian'an Men Square, and Wangfujing Shopping Street. And many small restaurants and little shops near by. Very close to the bus and subway stations too.

If you're looking for an economic stay in Beijing, this hotel may be for you. I booked a room for approx $60 per night and wasn't expecting anything glamorous. Upon arrival the staff was fine - not overly friendly, but helpful enough. My room was small, dark and in drastic need of an update. But, it was clean enough and I didn't plan on spending much time there. The location works well as it is near the subway line and walking distance to Forbidden City/Tiananmen Square. If you're staying with a family, you may want to look elsewhere. But for an individual or couple looking for cheap accommodations on the go, I would recommend Days Inn.

If your goal is to be close to Tianeman Square and the Forbidden City, I don't believe there is a greater value to be had. Other hotels in this area are all huge five star monstrosities. This is a very nice 3 story hotel. The rooms are roomy and clean. The restaurant is a combination Chinese American Food place. I would stay again if the above referenced were my focus. Beijing is huge and so it kind of helps to know what you want to see. Also this place is close to the subway with easy access to everywhere around town.

Economical and comfortable choice close to major attractions. Free wireless internet did not reach our room but worked in the lobby and cafe. Helpful staff but have limited English. Good shower, and beds not quite as hard as typically found in China.

The strongest point of this hotel is that it is a 10 minute walk from the gates of Forbidden City. I don't think there are many other hotels this close. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is good with a mix of Asian and Western cuisine. Sometimes it seems the staff has little experience, i.e. they set the table but forget the utensils. Some of the staff speak very good English, so no worries there. From a Western viewpoint, the room was average and nothing to write home about. Maybe from a Chinese perspective it is better. Order the deluxe room; at least it will be above ground. Bring your own shaving stuff or you will have to buy what is in the room. The bed was fine. I would have preferred wireless internet. The hotel supplies a LAN cable and the wall jack works once you figure out which jack to use. The other jack is for something else but it isn't clearly marked. Overall, I'd gladly stay there again. No regrets

No problem whatsoever. Standard amenities for a Days Inn hotel. I partially chose the hotal for the location, but, though near the Forbidden City, other amenities such as shops are not particularly good here.

this is a great location, near sights, shopping and restaurants. its clean and most of the staff is willing to help, and help you book tours of great wall, etc. the restaurant downstairs, while a bit pricey for lunch, is convenient and a good value for breakfast. If you venture to other parts of the city to go to bars or restaurants using cabs, know that the cab drivers will try to rip you off (80-100 rmb) to get back to this location, even when it only was 25 to get there...

It was a great location. Close to the Forbidden City and to a large outdoor shopping mall with food courts. The "budget" room is in the basement and is very small.

Budget rooms are in the basement. The corridor is quite dingy and the rooms do not have a full window. The grouting in the shower in our room was black with mould and needed to be cleaned badly. The reception area was nice but a bit worn and the front desk, which is where your first impression forms, looked as though it had not been dusted for a long time and the marble counter looked as though it had not been cleaned in a long time. The location was great, within walking distance of the Forbidden City, Tien'anmen Square and subways. Overall view of the hotel is that it could do with a good clean.
