- Everything about the hotel was good. - - Security wise excellent. Every guest entering the hotel is subjected to security check. - Lobby is spacious, clean, has a waiting lounge area. - Elevator / lift is secure and clean. Quick. - There is a doorman/ lady that awaits your arrival upon exiting the elevator and makes sure you're able to enter your room swiftly & comfortably. - Room is wide enough. Bed is clean and comfortable. Sheets smell good. A/c was fine. There were fruits of bananas, apples & pear provided daily with two complimentary drinking bottles. - Location has a Starbucks, McDonalds, supermarket with several shops inside that sell clothes, souvenirs, shoes etc, produce market, Chinese restaurants, and a massage parlor that was a welcome respite. I highly recommend to check that place. Will definitely stay here again.

This was our first hotel of an 11 day tour. Decent rooms and great/huge breakfast. Nice pool. Big problem with hotel is the carpeting is bad in the lobbies and rooms, stained old and smells like smoke! Plus the beds are ridiculously hard. I actually thought there was a board on top when I sat on it. Worst bed I have ever had anywhere in the world! Not a great location for walking either. Not sure why Cox and Kings use this hotel with so many to choose from.

The hotel is located walking distance to a subway station, there is very nice restaurant close by and a Mac Donald's across the road if you are not very familiar with Chinese food. There is a good shopping center one train station away in Dongzhimen, this station also connects to the airport. The hotel room is very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and they spoke good English. However the hotel concierge was supposed to organize a taxi for us and it took him 2 full hours to tell us he could not reach a taxi.

Nice lobby and looks really nice from the outside. The rooms don't look like the pictures. We had to switch rooms because the ac didn't work. They originally sent someone up who turned the ac on and off and indicated it was working. Two hours later, it was still 26 degrees in our room. Our floor smelled like pee coming off the elevator and the carpet was FILTHY. Stains everywhere. The rooms have also obviously been smoked in. The beds are rock hard but I've heard this is common in Asia? After calling again about the ac they immediately switched us rooms with no hassle which was nice. The room was cleaner but much smaller and also stank of cigarette smoke. The restaurant, the cherry tree, was ridiculously over priced and no one spoke English. The location is really good. Very close to the subway, a market and superstore. There's a McDonald's and Starbucks two walking minutes away too. Getting directions and asking questions was difficult as NO ONE spoke English. Even the concierge didn't speak English very well. There seemed to be lots of staff in training too. The hotel was quiet though. We once heard someone talking on the phone through the wall but never anyone above us or being loud in the halls. They give you two tiny bottles of water for free twice a day. The water in the room is very expensive, just walk across the street to the market.

when we arrive at hotel, it was about 10am, we were thinking to leave our baggages and go out for early lunch before we can check in. To our surprise, we are allowed to check in early. This is really good for us who spent the night on flight. My room is fine, but another room of my friend has terrible smoke smell. they request to change room.

I've stayed at this hotel 4 times now in the last 6 months and each time the experience has been the same, disappointing. My biggest issue with this hotel is the fact the air conditioning does not work in the rooms. On one visit I changed rooms 3 times to try to get a room that had an adequate temperature, but each time the air conditioning system just pumped out normal ambient temperature air. Seemingly the only think you are allowed to control is how much air gets pumped out! I'm not a HVAC expert so can only speculate that maybe the hotel only turns the air conditioning on when the temperature outside reaches a certain value, but to advertise the hotel as having air conditioning and then not allow guests to actually use it, is in my opinion, dishonest. The rooms are also quite tired and on several occasions I have found items to be defective. Most recently the shower unit did not work and appeared to be blocked up with limescale. I really wanted to like this hotel, its location is excellent, only a short walk from the shopping area and night life of Sanlintun. The staff are also pleasant and work hard to look after the guests. The internet access is also excellent. I wanted to like it so much I returned 3 further times hoping things might be different, but they were not. But after staying in the similarly priced and located Swisshotel, and finding it a significantly better experience, I just cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located near Subway, around 5mins walk. There is a McD and supermarket opposite the hotel. But you cannot just cross the road and you have to use the pedestrian bridge. Anyway, their Subway is not really friendly to older people as many are without escalator and lift. Too many staircase to climb. If you are fit, then is ok. The hotel allowed me to check in at 9am, which I am very thankful to them. The room is cozy, clean and bed is good. Turndown service is available too. The only thing is, the room only provide 2 small bottles of water (350ml). The room is bright with natural light as with huge window. The door man is friendly and will greet you everytime you walk in or out. The hotel lobby is huge, but weird that no sitting area for waiting or to rest. Overall, as expected, is a nice hotel and worth the money.

As suggested by the name this hotel was steered towards Asian guests as staff spoke little English, however they always made the effort to help as with directions and tours. The rooms were adequate if a little small which included the bathroom. It had everything you needed though and we were very comfortable. The location is good. With shopping and restaraunts close by. The hotel also has a couple of good restaraunts. Wifi was free but very slow and limits on sites.

We spent 8 days in this hotel. Asia Hotel is located near to a subway station. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. The room was very clean, it was big, the beds were large. There was free drinking water available every day. The shower was very good. The air-conditioning did not work but we did not need it so we did not ask about it. On the other side of the street there are a couple of supermarkets. The personnel does not speak much English. We would definitely stay here if we went to Beijing again.

We stayed here three different times and had three different types of room. We like the hotel and we like the location and would recommend it; however, we suggest talking to the front desk about what you expect from your room. One of our rooms was newly redone but very small. Another was bigger but older. Yet another was newer and quite large. They were all clean and cared for. Hotel is in walking distance to food and shopping. Taxis are readily available. We did not eat at the hotel (other than one room service), but there are 3 or 4 restaurants to choose from. Room service was okay, but hard to order (lack of English in the restaurants) and had a 20% service fee, which we thought was high.
