Always a pleasure to stay here. Lovely and clean. Rooms are immaculate, grounds are superb!! I stayed in the Warren Weir building which is also very nice. The Mansion house is by far the best building but the Warren Weir building is just as lovely. Staff very friendly and rooms immaculate. and very comfortable bed.
We had a fantastic weekend at the Luton Hoo celebrating a friend's 50th. We experienced an amazing time in a fabulous establishment with breathtaking surroundings. The service was second to none. The suites were clean and comfortable. We were looked after amazingly by the staff in the private dinning room, restaurant, bar and spar.
Breakfast.at the Luton Hoo, is one to enjoy .Impeccable service from start to finish. The choice is vast. You can have a Full English, or a continental We were having the Full English< The first coarse is self service, Cold Drinks, Cereals, Fruits.. you then order your main Tell me what you do not want from the menu said the very smart waitress. the food arrives all together, hot and you can have top-ups as required. Toast and Hot drinks keep coming. This is a great place for that special occasion, Great building to wonder round
This was our second visit - asked to come back after a terrible first visit with the assurance it had improved. The rooms were good - clean and comfortable with good beds. Sadly it's the rest that really disappoints. Reception(young) man - smug to the point of rude. In the lounge it's against the rules to move chairs ( so you can sit together). The brasserie - where do I start. Still they don't know how to serve, asking you how your food is and if the response is negative -ignore. Carpaccio - seared bit of beef badly sliced and full of sinew - horrid. A main that lacked any flavour. Hair in my cheese. Lunch the next day - hair in the dessert. Breakfast - kept having to ask for a place setting, and coffee etc etc. Just seriously shoddy 5 star hotel. I strongly recommend the GM try his hotel before letting his guests -so much to improve. This is a hotel with no guest centric values. Shame we were looking to bring more team here in future. Search wider - there are some fab hotels locally which are more reasonable.
We were all made to feel welcome. from the time we arrived. The room was beautiful. Nothing experienced could be faulted bliss we will definitely recommend your hospitality see you all again real soon I'm saving already x
We're back again for a mini break at Luton Hoo, and everything is just as good as ever. With a sumptuous luxury room in size, quality and comfort, we soon relax here and enjoy the delights of what is on offer with leisure, walks, food and friendly and helpful staff. Delighted to be back!
Beautiful room. Rather loud air conditioning. No window to open as ground floor. Dinner rather good in the Werner Restaurant however from 7:45 sit down it was 9:15 before Main meal was served. A little too long for a couple dining. Don't bother with the cooked breakfast. It was rather disappointing in quality.
The cream tea at this hotel is lovely. It is a big place with lots of customers but the service was still good. The scones were very moist and they were happy to provide extra jam and cream. We had a couple of vegetarians in the party and they were equally well catered for. We had a drink on the terrace and walked in the grounds that are truly spectacular
Have stayed before and always loved it. Room and spa fantastic. Felt some staff were either new or not happy. Food and food service were disappointing. Afternoon tea was ok although cakes were not all good
Look, I met with some of my suppliers and stayed over for one night. Recommended by my agent who looks after my travel (THEY are refunding our stay in full) I didn’t like the food, service was sloppy, the staff are scruffy with off colour shirts and blouses and very slow with the drinks... it is quite extraordinary when you look back on Trip A the amount of people who complain about cold breakfast Eggs, and still the hotel does nothing. My fried eggs were cold and my colleagues poached were cold with water floating about the plate. Time and time again people are complaining about this. I suggest Mr GM, you either get a grip or face moving to a travel lodge
