We stayed here after a late night return flight. We informed the hotel we would be arriving much later after a flight delay and the staff were very helpful. When we arrive (around 1/2am) we found it a little confusing as they don’t have a reception desk and so wandered the bar a bit until a member of staff was present (doesn’t sound like much but we found this strange and really just wanted to get to bed after a long day travelling). The room was tiny and the beds were a little strange. Two singles put together (rock, rock hard) with two mattress toppers on them. 1 pillow on each bed that we’re pretty rock solid too. Shower was difficult to use as it had a weird beam above it making it very tricky to shower stood up. We got a breakfast in the morning and paid for it at the hotel (approx £9 each) which was good. Nice coffee too. We were charged twice for our room. After contacting the hotel they refunded this error quickly and acted very professionally. Errors sometimes happen and I believe it’s how things are dealt with that’s important and they addressed it straight away. So all in all breakfast great, room not terrible but rather odd and uncomfortable. We might stay here again but probably not.
Checked in 2am for 3 rooms after an early morning landing! Room was not clean, strong smell of damp along with hair grips not ours and spiders that had been there a while... soap dispenser in the bathroom was filthy along with the shower.. I know this is not a high end hotel but the cleaning standards in the establishment are some of the worse I’ve seen felt like a hostel. Would not go back even if was for free..
Thank you to Andrea and Radu to make sure to feel like home with you, this little present in the room made a difference; it wasn’t anymore just an hotel room. Needed to stay there the night before an early flight rooms are quiet unfortunate couldn’t try the breakfast.
Near the airport, not the closest though. If you park for more than20min it will cost you £8. Here is the little breakfast trick. You ask the times for breakfast..... you are told they serve from 4:30am. Perfect, I am need to be at the airport for 5;30am. What they don’t tell you is you pay full price for toast and cereal. Hot food is 6am onwards. Needless to say I won’t stay again, plenty of other hotels nearby. That and the room is quite poor.
Simple airport hotel, walking distance to terminal, affordable, clean, friendly staff, food so so but what could you expect, friendly bar. Just what you need for a night rest before a flight out. Recommended!
Budget hotel. Have stayed here before. This time stayed one night before a flight. Small but clean room. Very quiet. Great help yourself breakfast. Very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend, and will use again.
Staying at the Ibis overnight before our flight in the morning. The check-in was smooth and carried out with a mobile phone by an employee waiting in the reception area. Room is ok if not a little small but only for one night to rest before our onward journey so no real issue. Where this hotel needs to get a grip is in the restaurant. Seriously guys having 2 members of staff to service a packed restaurant is a joke. I feel for your employees as much as I do your customers. It is August after all, you know, holiday season. Be fair and get some employees sufficient enough for the volume of customers. The one start reflects how disappointing the service is.
Booked in for a night before an early morning flight. Lack of reception was not helpful despite staff explaining their new ‘friendly approach’ this actually made checking out difficult having to ask bar staff for someone to assist us at 2am. Bedroom was average but the bed had old stained sheets and a very long dark hair found under the pillow indicating this wasn’t not ‘clean and fresh’ as advertised. Had we not checked in fairly late and had only 4 hours sleep before we departed At 2am would have raised this. Won’t be staying again!!
My friend an I stayed at this hotel the night before our flight and we were both very pleasantly surprised. Check-in was quick and easy, our room was clean and had everything we needed. We aet at the hotel and I have to say that the bottle of red that we ordered was delicious and the burgers were great. I was concerned that the hotel would be noisy due to the proximity to the roads and airport and with people coming and going but that was not the case. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an overnight stay (I don't know who maintains the grounds but the shurbs need cutting back as getting down the paths to reception with our cases was tricky to say the least).
Perfect stop over for very early morning flight departure. However, hotel restaurant food and service below average and not to Accor's usual high standards. Seating layout of restaurant is questionable which hinders service.
