This is a fine budget hotel, offering a very comfortable room for the price. The location is particularly convenient, as you can walk to the rail station which is only about 500 metres away. The staff is extremely helpful and thoughtful, and really helped a busy person preparing for an important business meeting the next day to get everything done. Add to all this that taxi fare from the airport was about 10 quid, and it makes a lot of sense to head over there. You can get a meal nearby at a normal price, as opposed to what you pay at the airport hotels.

I don’t know what it is with the town Luton but everything just follows along with the reputation of being rubbish, this hotel is typical luton.. On first glance it looks okay, the price is good and the hotel looks nice. Visually my room was nice, but it was on the ground floor with a single glazed window with the people of Luton free to walk by.. didn’t feel safe to me. The room stunk of cigarette smoke, and there was no wifi. This hotel just has an odd feel to it, including the fact its hard to find the rooms..

This place is best avoided if you're on a business trip. Good location - 5 mins walk away from the train station (although the sound of trains rushing past did somewhat disturb my sleep). The hotel has no lift. Bedroom and bathroom were adequate. There was NO WiFi in the hotel, despite the hotel advertising that it had WiFi. A chat with the staff revealed that the WiFi had not worked for weeks (perhaps months). Naughty naughty Comfort Hotel London Luton / Oyo London Luton (or whatever your name is).

We booked a room for a couple and got a twin room. We also booked a shower/bath but the bath did not work so had to fill it up using jugs from the tap. There is no WiFi as they and the signs tell you there is. The corridor stunk of cannibis and the place was just dirty in the bedrooms. Painting tools left in the room and no heating. Reception just stared at us when checking out without greeting or anything. Also booked under the comfort in could it find a phone number or the building as they have changed the name outside. Disgusted with my nights stay and wouldn't of been able to stay anougher.

Hotel looks to have past glory, enjoyed my stay but room needs improvement. Very well located right next to the train station and free parking on site. Free WiFi. Quite a big hotel and better room direction signage would do, as I got lost in trying to find my room.

Booked to stay here for easy access to the airport with my disabled friend. Drove round for over 2hours due to roadworks blocking both the road to the hotel and the car park. Ended up walking and wheeling my friend in her wheelchair across the town centre at 23.30 at night relying on a homeless man to give us directions. On arrival we were told the hotel was unaware of the roadworks until 8pm and we were placed in a room right by the window looking over the roadworks...a lovely noisy night on a spring popping bed. On following up with the general manager Richard Watson we received an appology and several excuses but no compensation...several emails later explaining a courtesy call at 8pm would still have given us the opportunity to make further plans to park or make our way straight to the airport he then reluctantly decided to offer a 15% discount. For the sake of good customer service a full refund of a massive £34 would have made all the difference. 2 females Luton town centre disabled person in wheelchair at 23.30 at night just not Richard Watsons problem it seems and not a care in the world to make a courtesy call even at 8pm...

Booked this hotel on price and proximity to the airport using I did not expect anything fantastic but after getting up for work at 4am and working a 12hr shift and arriving at the hotel at 8.30pm after a long day, I hoped to park my car and get to sleep for a 6.30am flight the next morning. The car park was full and I was told to go and park my car somewhere else. (In fact when I left at 4.00am the next morning some other poor sole who was desperate to park had blocked the entrance/exit to the car park with their car so anyone with an early exit may well have been stuck unless they could find the owner amongst the hotels guests). The receptionist was polite about the issue but the only help offered was directions to a car park off site. The car park I found was a 1/3rd of a mile away and most definitely not secure, who needs this, Luton is not a place to be wandering about after dark and if you arrived after a late flight and were tired then good luck. The hotel argues that the advertisement on clearly states that they do not guarantee parking, arguing that 'free (non secure) parking' means that. I beg to differ and say that this is pushing the english language a little too far. I have reported the advertisement on to the 'Advertising Standards Authority' and hope that this information may prevent another person hoping to park at the hotel, wandering around Luton late at night or in the wee small hours after an exhausting days travelling. I am also a little concerned that the response to many reviews on here with complaints is quite vitriolic and would question the ethos that the best form of defence is attack when you are running a business that requires you to put the customer first. On another practical level the hotel is in a busy location and by the train station so if you are a light sleeper it may be an issue. The decor is tired in all respects but ok for the price and if it were not for issue with parking, would have been fine and provided me with a bed for the night. I booked three different stays at the hotel in advance, missed the first night, staid the second and found somewhere with parking for the third. I have checked the advertisement for this hotel on and the wording is clear 'Limited complimentary onsite parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.' If can be clear why can't last and if I had booked knowing this I would have no cause to complain. Come on use plain english.

We were looking for somewhere cheap, close to Luton Airport, with parking for an early morning flight. So in that respect the Comfort Hotel ticked all the boxes. However, it's situated on a busy traffic island, under a railway! For the amount of sleep we got we might as well bedded down in the airport on those impossible to sleep on plastic benches. So to sum up, cheap, yes, but still a waste of money. Next time we'll pay more to get some sleep.

I have only stayed at this hotel twice and both times it was a good experience it is very well situated in a central position just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and all the shops restaurants and cinema, it is disabled friendly easy parking and the staff are very friendly And the place is clean. My wife is disabled our room was on the ground floor, it was a good size, the bathroom more than meet our needs, we had some recreational time we went to the cinema and then had diner and a drink in the Weathrspoons on the ground floor very convenient.

Very large clean room. Big bathroom with a lovely shower. Free wifi, free parking and a TV, what more do you want? Very cheap to stay here and ideal location for the train station. Saw lots of bad reviews about this hotel, all a load of rubbish. Was clean and had everything you’d need! Staff were friendly and the bar was cheap! Would definitely return!!
