The location was unbeatable. Just across from Saint Helena‘s church. Just blocks from the riverfront. And also just blocks from walking to see beautiful views and beautiful old homes in the neighborhood. If your focus is primarily on location, this is the place for you! On the downside, don’t expect to get much out of the televisions. There were three remotes for each and nothing worked. DIRECTV kept saying it didn’t have a signal, and despite contacting the host that never changed. There was a remote that you could supposedly access Netflix And it didn’t work. I just used my computer the whole time to stream things. I also think pet owners should take note that the yard has multiple areas where your pets can escape. Thankfully I was paying attention because I found my two dogs out front in the street when I walked away from them in the yard for a couple of minutes. There is a hole in the fence that allows access to the neighbors yard, which is unfenced and the can escape from there. There are also many areas where dogs can disappear beneath the home. It appears that they can then exit from underneath the house out under the front stairs and escape that way as well. Although I didn’t crawl around to see if that was the way they got out still, a reliable backyard was important to me for my dogs, so that was a little frustrating. That being said, though, I would likely return to this home simply because the location is perfect.
