You cannot go wrong staying here. I’m glad we didn’t stay down in the city because of parking. This place has his own garage. All appliances are very modern with everything you need to cook your own meals. It’s about a 15 minute drive down to the city center. The host is very responsive and very helpful. The view that you see in the ad is what you get. It is unbelievable. We happen to be here when a foot of snow fell overnight and the next day. It was actually just what we needed to just relax and enjoy our location. The place was spotless and you take the elevator right up with your luggage. Nice washer and dryer downstairs. Let us wash a load of laundry. My wife and I didn’t wanna leave. Very quiet and private. Pictures below were all taken at the property or traveling on the road up to the property. Just wow!!!

We flew all the way from Las Vegas, Nevada. The property has a room with 2 twin beds and a bedroom with a king bed. The kitchen is fully equipped. Which came in handy for cooking meals at odd hours. Since The views out the back deck were phenomenal. We even had the neighboring cows come to the property line. It was pretty cool. We have this property on our radar for when we go back when all the kids are older so we can do more strenuous hikes.

Beautiful flat in a stunning location!

The flat was warm, quiet and exceptionally well equipped with everything that we needed and more. It was clean and well-proportioned. The view from the balcony is dramatic (understatement) and we enjoyed the change of outlook depending on the weather and time of day. This was the most that we had ever paid for a weeks accommodation in Switzerland, but it was worth every penny. Thank you!

Breathtaking views!

We didn’t want to leave this place! 🥰 It is about 20 mins drive from the center of Interlaken, beautiful road going up, a little winding and narrow, but was worth the drive. The place is perfect for 2 couples. We had everything we needed in the chalet. All we need to buy is our wine, beer, and champagne to sit in the balcony and just enjoy the view and the fresh smell of the mountain. There are restaurants around the town if you want to eat out, or buy your grocery in aldi or coop in Interlaken. We are definitely going back! Thank you so much Renate for letting us stay in your chalet. Truly a hidden gem in Beatenberg town. ❤️

Great location, magnificent view, very clean and well equipped. Our stay in the Interlaken region was made even more enjoyable as we were able to return to a home like atmosphere at the end of the day. Will highly recommend to all desiring an exceptional Swiss experience.

Amazing views

Nice clean property. Beautiful views of the mountains and Lake Thun. Walked to a local bakery every morning. Restaurants within walking distance. One mile or so to the Niederhorn. Basic cooking needs are there. There isn't hand soap or bath soap, so be sure to bring. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed the cows in the pasture next door.

JUST SO AMAZING

We spent an amazing week in this gorgeous apartment. It was so spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The views were so spectacular from the large outside terrace of numerous mountain peaks and the lovely lake below. We could hear bird song and the clanking sound of the cow bells in the field next door to the property and occasionally the sound of bells from the many churches below in the valley. Below the apartment was a field where Lamas grazed and we spotted wild red deer early in the morning sunshine. It was really magical and we would love to return for another amazing stay in such an amazing apartment in such a spectacular and clean country Switzerland is in a heart beat.

Nice quiet place

What a wonderful place to stay! Clean and updated place. Wonderful views of the Alps and Lake Thun. Close to the Neiderhorn cable car. Its about a 20 minute drive to Interlaken. Nice kitchen and the washer/ dryer are in the basement. There are some restuarants close by. I would definitely stay there again. I hated to leave!

Breathtaking Views

If you like a view look no further!! This wonderfully located apartment situated high on the Beatenberg commands views of the Alps do die for. Super clean luxury apartment within easy reach of all major attractions but far enough away to give peace and quite away from hussle and bussle of Interlaken (15mins) Great bus service to Interlaken which has connections to everywhere you would need so even an option without a car (But I would recommend own transport). Apartment has all the essentials and more, in fact has everything you could ever need. Great Hiking routes right out of the door and a few great restaurants in walking distance . A truly memorable stay.

Fabulous views of Mountains

The approach to the condo was hair raising at first, but we soon became more familiar with negotiating the one car wide drive. The location is remote and serene! Cows and llamas in the pasture. We were happy that we brought food and beverages for the week! Beautiful patio area, rock garden, and updated indoor living areas. The kitchen stove light and fan didn’t work, so I wouldn’t recommend cooking fish. More details regarding doing laundry and garbage disposal would be helpful. Bring your own laundry detergent, hand soap and body products, and spices, oil, tea, etc. Relax and Enjoy!

Beautiful location, superb apartment

Our stay at this lovely apartment was all that we had hoped for. Incredibly peaceful and with the most stunning views across lake Thun to the awesome mountains beyond. To be in a place where the only sounds we could hear were birdsong, cowbells and crickets helped us to relax and unwind away from home for a few days. The apartment is superbly equipped making self catering very easy and allowing us to set our own agenda. The excursions available are so many and varied that, even though we have visited this area before, we were unable to visit all of the places we would like to although this was always going to be the case. We will no doubt visit again.

Gorgeous view - cute little town!

We stayed a week at this lovely apartment in a 6 unit Chalet. The photo is a very accurate representation of what you see - but it's even better than this because it is a panoramic view of a wide range of different mountains - some snow covered during our stay in June, 2018. The lake below is another pretty scene with the standard turquoise water and green pastures climbing the mountains. Having our own apartment to cook meals, relax on the comfortable sofa, beds and chairs, lovely patio furniture made the stay very pleasant. We rented a car because we had lots of luggage (we overpack!) and wanted the flexibility to go places without relying on busses and trains. I know that's not the "Swiss" way, but it worked well for us. The location made day trips to Bern, Luzern, Grindelwald, Murren, etc all very enjoyable. We would recommend staying here for a couple or couple with children - plenty of room and lovely updated appliances, great shower, and every cooking item you would ever need!

Traumhafte Lage mit herrlichem Blick über den Thuner See auf Alpenpanoroma. Große Terrasse. Wohnung großzügig und hell, sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Das Haus liegt ruhig und abseits der Touristenströme an einer kleinen Straße am Hang. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Wir haben trotz Navi lange nach dem Haus und dem richtigen Schlüsselkästchen gesucht..

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung und der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Etwas problematisch war der Kühlschrank, der bei den hohen Außentemperaturen von über 30 Grad leider nicht zuverlässig gekühlt hat. Hier wurde uns seitens der Gastgeberin ein Austausch angeboten, da wir aber unsere geplanten Ausflüge dafür nicht entfallen lassen wollten, haben wir dies abgelehnt und uns mit der mangelnden Kühlleistung arrangiert. Zudem hatten wir täglich mit einigen Spinnen und Stechmücken in der Wohnung zu kämpfen – hier wären Insektenschutzgitter an den Fenstern sicherlich sehr hilfreich. Trotzdem haben wir die Zeit genossen und danken herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft.

Der Check-In hat problemlos funtioniert. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Leider konnten wir die schöne grosse Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick nicht so ausgiebig nutzen, da der häufig startke Regen und die Aussentemperaturen dies nicht zuliessen. Dennoch haben wir auch an einem Regentag die Wohnung genossen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Kochutensilien sind gepflegt.Wir haben während unseres Aufenthalts unseren PKW nicht genutzt und haben alle Ausflüge mit Bus und Bahn gemacht. Die Bushaltestelle ist ca. 15-20 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt und werden gerne wieder kommen.
