It was an easy check-in with a kind staff. The single room was small but consisted of everything I would need. I really appreciated the ability to roll down dark shades to cover the windows. I was on the 3rd floor and did not find it too noisy to sleep, I thought it was fine. The bathroom was nice and had a lot of space! If I am in Barcelona again I would stay here again.

Dead moths smashed on the wall. Hair ball on the bathroom floor. Did they even clean the room before we checked in? Pool and view from the pool were nice though.

I booked this hotel because it was close to the beach. it truly was just a 10 minute walk and was wonderful. The room i had was very small but cozy and very clean. I felt very safe in the hotel and staff was nice. My favorite part of the hotel was the pool which i enjoyed everyday at my stay there.

The room was big with nice wiew over the city (we stayed at the 7th floor). There is a good neighborhood coffe place right under for breakfast. Located in El born which is great for walking around and close to the beach. Minus is the toilets doors made out of glass and therefor, if wake up to pee, the light can wake up your partner

My husband and I fell in love with Barcelona. The location of this hotel is excellent which is why I would stay here again. It's across the street from the train station which we took to the airport. It's in a popular area and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. However, we stayed there near the end of November and they had turned the air-conditioning off for the season. Off!! No option to turn it back on. Our room was across from some major partiers, I mean partying until 3am. And it was hot in the room because we had no AC. So we had to sleep with the window open. It was either burn up or try to sleep through the noise. We aren't against partying at all but we like a little bit of sleep too. We survived because Barcelona is awesome. If we stay there next time though, we'll go when the AC is working or maybe ask for a different room. Also, there weren't really any great amenities. Breakfast wasn't anything to brag about. We ate at the cafe 2 doors down. Yummy croissants and coffee/tea. They also had full breakfast options.

staff speaks Spanish and English, are very helpful regarding different modes of transportation available

small bathrooms but otherwise a good hotel, no frills but good for the value

Very clean with an elevator Simple but efficient. Lots of Tapas within walking area and Gothic quarter. Across from train station. Lots of cabs. \Close to seafood restaurants in Barceloneta...Great/

We stayed for 3 days after a cruise and it was an easy $10E taxi ride from the port. Trendy historic neighborhood within walking distance of many sites, but without the noise and crime of La Rambla. Metro station 5 minutes walk and train station across the street made getting around easy. Tons of tapas bars and cafes within blocks. Room was roomy and functional. Small but functional bathroom with updated fixtures. We paid extra for a balcony and the staff brought up chairs at our request. Staff very accommodating with directions and printing documents for us. Great WiFi. Only minus was the odor of sewer gases when the A/C was turned off. AC was so cold we needed blankets! Would stay there again.

Robbery occurred in the evening hours while we were out. Someone came into the room, broke the zipper on a locked bag and stole cash only. When we filed a police report we were told four other robberies with the same MO occurred the same night in the same hotel. Staff were not helpful and at first tried to convince us no robbery had really occurred, then commented that our insurance would cover the loss. Suspect at least one hotel employee was involved.

The Park is in a great location. The Franco Train staion is right across the street, Picasso Museum is a couple blooks, Las Ramblas is a few blocks walk down the main street. We also are beach lovers and the Barceloneta is a long block away with plenty of cheap massages, beach bars, and sunshine. Behind the hotel is the Placa de Born which comes alive at night with tapas bars and music and great shopping. Hoel breakfast is adequate: bread, fruit, cheese, tomatoes, meats, cereal, pastries and coffee! Staff helpful and friendly. It was a 10 euro cab from the Sants Station (we took the high speed train from Madrid) and a 30 euro cab to the airport. Cab drivers are honest and kind unlike our experiences in Lisbon and Madrid. This hotel is a gem!
