Excellent location in gothic district. Exceptionally friendly staff. Personalized touches every day. Lovely hotel bar. Beautiful room and bathroom is modern. Nespresso machine and mini bar are complimentary. Staff all speak English (if you prefer) and go out of their way to be helpful.
This is a beautiful, well appointed boutique hotel located in one of the most interesting neighborhoods in the heart of the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona. There were so many museums, churches, restaurants and plazas just a few minutes walk away The hotel itself is built right along one of the ancient fortifications around Barcelona, and are still visible in the architecture of the walls, revealed as surprises throughout. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and a pleasure to walk through and explore. I loved the library room with the art, architecture and cooking books. Our room faced a courtyard wall thick with plants and was very comfortable. Any food or drink we had was delicious. But by far the nicest thing was the warm and attentive staff of the hotel, there to help us at every turn, whether it was directions, dinner reservations or any kind of advice. If you love art, design and culture, you will love this hotel. The work of one Catalan artist pervades throughout the hotel, also a very cool concept. After a long day of sightseeing it was so refreshing to lie down, up on the rooftop patio, and soak in the sun.
The highlight of this property was the staff and how friendly and attentive they were to our needs. Especially Edward. Whenever we had a question he was able to answer and give a great recommendation. Marcos was also a great help. Location was great, would definitely stay there again. My wife and I travel a lot and this was some of the best customer assistance we have experienced. Thanks and I hope to be back. B
We can't say enough good things about this hotel. Everything was perfect and you can't beat the location in the gothic quarter. The staff was attentive and incredibly hospitable.
