Located in a small square just east of Las Ramblas. We didn't stay here but called out the outside bar a couple of times - great people watching location is a busy part of Barcelona. Nice young ladies serving - toilets inside the hotel for patrons' use. A nice little stopping of place for refreshments.

We recently stayed at Hotel Suizo. It is in a good location, with a metro station nearby. The hotel room was clean and a reasonable size, but we were disappointed on arrival to find that the rooms we were allocated did not have windows, only a skylight.

My husband and I stayed here from the 29-3 of Aug/sept. The hotel was lovely, Clean and fresh. The shower was really nice! It's extremely central and staff are very friendly. Only downside was no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

This hotel is very good located, in the heart of what Barcelona has to offer. Lots of quirky streets with awesome bars, restaurants and so on. The rooms are basic but clean and neat. They charge for the safe in the room, wich i've never experienced before. But it's a great hotel - would stay there again!

Arrived early evening of 15 Aug to check in to Hotel Suizo. Unfortunately we were told that there were a number of rooms out of order due to lighting issues (I think) and that we had to change hotels. We were given a room at a hotel around the corner, which is part of the same hotel group.

We arrived very late and we were relieved to check in to the hotel Suizo. Our room that we were given seemed huge, compared to other hotel rooms we had been staying in during our travels as my husband and myself were on a euro trip. The room was equipped with a living room pull-out couch and desk, a separate bed room, and another vanity room, as well as a standard bathroom. Our room faced into the market streets, which was a bit loud in the evening with some of the nightlife. The hotel was in a perfect location allowing us to walk to everything we wanted to, Sagrada Familia, Picasso Museum and you are in the heart of the gothic district which has a lot to do and explore its self. Highley recommend this hotel!

Excellent Hotel in a great location. Freindly staff and clean. Beds are comfy also, aircon works well. Good price for a good room. Rooms are fresh and clean, newly designed i think. Subway right outside hotel front door. Walking tours start from outside hotel. Restaurants and fresh juice bars near aswell. 3min walk to a incredible cathedral. Will diffenetly be staying here again. Enjoy

We travelled in July as a couple for a long weekend in the city and chose this hotel due to the reviews on Trip Advisor and a good price for our chosen weekend. Once we arrived at the hotel we were very pleased with our choice as the hotel was very well appointed and in the perfect location! The room was small but as we were only staying for 4 days, this did not matter too much to us and we had a small balcony overlooking one of the streets surrounding the hotel which was great for a bit of people watching! The beds were relatively comfortable and the shower was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right around the corner from the Barcelona Cathedral within the heart of the Gothic Quarter which is perfect for sightseeing. It is also only a 10-15 minute walk away from one of the main squares Placa De Catalunya so it is ideal for getting around the city. There is also a metro stop right outside the hotel although we didn't actually use this method of transport. In the mornings for breakfast if you don't fancy eating at the hotel there is a fantastic bakery directly next door which sells the tastiest pastries, cakes and sweets. All in all it's a great hotel and we would definitely stay again and recommend it!

Recently returned from a short break in barcelona and what a wonderful city, we stayed at hotel suizo the room was quite modern but no fridge to store cold water or juice, no drawer to put your clothing into and no kettle for tea/coffee, iv stayed in 3☆ before and there was all these items, breakfast the same each morning so after 2 days we went out for breakfast. Hotel very central, near cathedral and walking distance for a lot more attractions, right outside hotel was metro station, lift broke down frequently but was fixed promptly.

Hotel Suizo was a lovely little hotel. We stayed in a double room which was lovely and clean as was the bathroom too. The space is fairly small as expected in a city hotel but the design and layout of the rooms does the best with the space. We even had a balcony facing out onto one of the side streets which was lovely to watch the hustle and bustle below. Also, the lovely smells that floated up from the patisserie and restaurants below was also very pleasant! We didn't opt for breakfast with the room as we were wanted to try local places for breakfast. The patisserie on the corner to the left as you exit the main entrance of the hotel is lovely for a quick coffee and croissant - the croissant con crema is lovely - but they are big and very filling! The Bathroom is small but the design and use of the space is again good. The shower has two heads and is powerful. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Also, the Metro is located just outside so you can jump on the underground with ease. You're right in the heart of the Gothic quarter too, the cathedral is just up one of the side streets! There are loads of restaurants nearby too. We didn't find the hotel to be noisy considering it's location. It's a perfect *** hotel for people who are going to be out the majority of the time exploring but want somewhere comfortable and clean to rest. I'd stay here again.
