Very pleasant experience! Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was extra, but was very tasty with a lot of options. Each evening we walked around the streets finding pubs and restaurants and shops very near by. It was within walking (about 15-20 minutes) distance of Barceloneta Beach and Bogatell was a quick bus/taxi ride as well. We also walked through the charming streets and discovered we were about 10-15 minutes away from Las Ramblas, which was a super beautiful area with lots to experience!

Nice hotel close to beach and all touristy areas of Barcelona. Nice and friendly staff.

Close to the beach, metro, and places to eat. Staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. Room was ok. It was picked up and clean. Rooms could be in better shape. Overall it was a good experience.

The best thing about this hotel is location. It's on the edge of Gothic and El Born quarters, both are very lively areas with beautiful little streets to walk and so many great restaurants and shops. Hotel itself is pretty basic, more like a three star, but the staffs are wonderful. Angela at front desk really tried hard to try to accommodate us. She helped us get a quiet room since my husband is a light sleeper, and eventually got us a room facing the old Roman wall. The view was amazing!! Room is a bit small, but normal in Europe. Bed is old and noisy, which was the thing we disliked the most about this hotel. In general, we loved it here and would definitely recommend it.

In the center of Barcelona near El Gotic, etc. Fine hotel with friendly staff.

Hotel was more than a sufficient place for a quick trip to Barcelona. The location is perfect and staff very friendly.

Convinient hotel, great location surrounded of coffee shops, metro and other turistic places. Room too small and old furniture but clean and comfortable. Recommended only with deal/discount.

If you love ancient part of the city this hotel has perfect location. Just few steps to the Medieval streets and walking distance to La Rambla etc. Hotel is small -- about 50 rooms. Staff on reception is very friendly and welcoming. Frankly I've never seen any other staff but room has been cleaned daily. I have never had their breakfast because there are a lot of restaurants around. This was our first time in Barcelona and we spent most of the time outside so the room size and amenities was not a priority. However, rooms are so small that it was hard to pack two suitcases in a time. The sound insulation have a lot of potential for improvement. The hotel provides free WiFi in rooms, but you have to login every time and every device have to have a separate password. It is a bit annoying. Overall impression -- good location friendly environment but small and some disturbance from neighbors.

The location was great, in the midst of the Gothic neighborhood. There are hundreds of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The price was very good for the quality of the hotel. Rooms were very nice, though small, by American standards. But with 2 lifts (many hotels we have stayed in in Europe only have one lift), a helpful staff, breakfast served until 11am, the metro stop right across the street, and the Roman wall outside our window, this made for a great first-time visit to Barcelona!

Laietana is a major street thru Barcelona between Las Ramblas and the gothic part of town. Location was very good--it made the city walkable. Front desk staff was mostly helpful and their English was far better than my Spanish. Amenities were limited but included a computer in the lobby for which their was no charge. Breakfast was not included and should have been for the price. Hotel required a 25 Euro deposit for the key to the safe in the room...i thought that was odd. Room was very clean and nice except for some orange mildew on the shower curtain. Overall, i liked the place. I would suggest to others they shop around and try to find a hotel--similarly located--but where the breakfast is included.

Everything is very clean, rooms are small but they all are in Europe. The front desk guys are very helpful and we had a LOT of questions. It was pretty quiet which was good, the Cathedral was right outside our window. My only complaint would be the beds are hard like laying on plywood hard, but overall it was really clean, everything worked, and I would stay there again.

The hotel is located at a perfect location for those who like the old and new of Barcelona. Eurostar Laietana Palace is locate at the Roman Wall that use to surround old Barcelona and only blocks away from the harbor and La Ramba. Easy access to the metro line and tour bus routes. The hotel itself was clean. The room was small by American standards. The staff was helpful and polite and spoke good English. I would stay again should I have the opportunity.

If you are looking for best location to Metro and tourist sites, you can't beat this hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean. A great value.

Staff was very accommodating. Hotel was nice and the rooms were big, but the beds were very hard. The hotel is conveniently located in Barceloneta near the beach and near a metro stop, making it a conducive location from which to traverse the city.

-Very centric -Safe and very clean place -Safe neighborhood -Walkable distance to many places as Rambla, Gothic Neighborhood, Plaza Catalunya. -Very nice staff

Close to the main attractions and the harbor.

Location was in a great neighborhood and close to a metro stop. Beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Room was a bit small though.

The hotel had two elevators. One was broken the entire time I was there. The other worked but had no light in it so you had to ride up and down in the dark. The rooms were clean but small.

Fine hotel right in the center of the old city, good nearby restaurants, transportation and important landmarks. Very good trip.

This was not what I would consider a 4-star hotel, but it was perfect for us. The room, although small, was clean and comfortable. The windows were soundproof and opened onto a lovely side street with a view of Roman ruins and the cathedral. The front door, however, did nothing to block the sounds from the hall, which could be noisy. We didn't bother with the breakfast, preferring to walk (5 min.) to la boqueira instead. Cafes with tapas and pastries are just steps from the front door, too. No pool, no fitness room, but a perfect, authentic place to sleep and shower in between exploring Barcelona.
