The hotel was comfortable, close to transit, had a good bar with snacks and food, a good breakfast buffet for only 10 Euro, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms are small but it has all you need, we like the distance to the city. It was our second stay at this hotel

The hotel generally met my needs. The location is great, very central to the city, being about the midpoint from Plaza Espana to Plaza de Catalunya. The room was clean and had all the required amenities. The hotel pool was a lot smaller than I expected, and is the smallest pool I have seen in any hotel. Additionally, whenever my room was serviced, all but one towel would be removed, so I had to go to the front desk (they wouldn't bring one up) to request a second towel every day (for the second person staying in the room).

I had a very bad experience at this hotel. The rooms have a really poor maintenance (rust in many places) and it seems clear they provide a bad cleaning service. Also I found one long hair on the bed's sheets and a short one into one towel. Once I have shown the pictures about the room at the reception, they changed the room but the second one was even worst: smaller and with a blurry window! It seemed incredibile but that's what happened. Also the bar for toilet paper was clearly damaged; I have speaken about it (and the room) to the manager and she said it was normal. A few hours later it has fallen down on the floor! I asked to check out 40 minutes later (12.40) by calling at the reception and they denied it. A few minutes knocked at the door a man saying that the manager has allowed it. Why come in the room instead of calling? Maybe also the phone was broken? According to this extremely negative and embarassing experience I won't definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Pleasant stay, decent location and clean for the price. The only issue we had was the shower fan did not seem to work and so we had no real way to exhaust the moisture after taking a shower. The hotel is located near an Aerobus stop so no need to take a taxi.

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel, and it's still a great experience. The hotel is two blocks away from Universitat square, and less than a mile from La Rambla. The service is excellent, the staff is very friendly and kind (as a most people in Barcelona), the rooms are fairly large and modern with all the amenities. The only issues we had this second time around was that there was a weird smell from time to time coming from the shower room and that the room attendant forgot to leave certain items (soap, shampoo, etc.) on occasion. However, as soon as you request something, it is delivered immediately. Overall, this is a great, convenient hotel and I have no reservation recommending it to anyone wishing to stay in downtown Barcelona.

Great location. Close to metro. Clean room. Nothing fancy. Awesome personnel.
