I like this hotel not because amenities it offers, but because of good price in comparison to the location it gives. A metro station is close, Sagrada Familia is in 20 min of slow walk distance it also has some nice restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is a decent place. Clean and not much noisy. However, it is not the newest standard. I have been there twice and on my second stay rain was dripping on my head in the bathroom. The room was quickly replaced. If you manage to get a good pricce for a night - I still recommend it very much. Please note that it may be very difficult for wheelchairs in the area nearby, as it has a very steep road leading up to the hotel.
On our stay previously, we were reasonably happy with the hotel, although it wasn't really clean. We cleaned our rooms ourselves. However on this last visit it was really filthy dirty - toothpaste and blood still in the bathroom; we had to find someone to ask for towels; there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms (but they had been there on our previous stay), there is no breakfast supplied - you can buy a small single box of cereal in the lobby for 2 Euro each!! The beds were the most uncomfortable we have ever slept on - one of us chose to sleep on the floor. We asked for twin beds (as we had on our previous visit) but were again told that they no longer supply this - there are only double beds. I will never visit this hotel again - the only good thing about it was that it was in Barcelona where we needed to be to catch our cruise ship (we stayed at the hotel before and after our cruise).
Basic Hotel Room exactly as in the photo. Staff on Reception very helpful. Breakfast room looks like a Hostel. Room cleaned daily but towels not changed for the 3 days we were there. The Hotel is situated at the top of a very steep hill which is a challenge but 10 min walk downhill and you have a great choice of eateries indoor and out. You are also only 15 min walk from The Familia Sagrada.
The hotel was a very good price and would go up a star if it had an on site restaurant! The room was a good size but had a little scuffing where the cases were left! Big comfy bed, fridge and nice bathroom. Nearby there a real local bars where I eat really well and cheaply, as you walk towards the Sagrada Familia the prices went up! Lots of tubes nearby and a bit of a hill to climb after a night out. The metro is a good service and you can get into the centre quite quickly! Very good value, clean tidy rooms and I would return for sure!
I was visiting Barcelona for 3 nights for a conference. This hotel was down from £300(approx) a night to approx £100 a night so I went with that despite it being a bit further from my conference than I'd have liked. On arrival I was pretty pleased I hadn't paid £300 a night. There is nothing wrong with the hotel inside etc but it certainly wouldn't have been worth that price. The staff member on reception was friendly enough. Having dropped my bags off an popped out for food I returned around 10pm hoping to get some sleep ready for day 1 of the conference. 1 am I was still trying!!! The hotel is based on the corner of a busy road with 3 junctions and a set of traffic lights. The city is very busy with mopeds which are of course fairly loud and with the lights you get them pulling off with the noise of the acceleration. After 2 nights of this and upon my conference finishing I decided there was no point staying for another bad nights sleep before flying home the next day at additional cost to myself. With the wasted nights cost of around £100 and the additional £80 to change my flights I was left out of pocket. It found be fair to say the lack of sleep impacted my conference. Was a little bit narked that when I went downstairs to tell the reception lad I was leaving a night early because of the noise from the road he just nodded and said OK. Don't like leaving bad reviews but given the location alongside the road this hotel would be worth avoiding, especially at full price!
This is a very nice hotel on a reasonable price! The location is good in terms of interesting sights and metro stops. Although the hotel is located on the top of a hill which might be an issue for people with difficulty walking there is a flat walk to a metro station about 5 min away. I would recommend this hotel of a nice quiet stay.
We had to book this hotel because Barcelona was completely booked out during the Easter holidays. We stayed there 3 nights. The location is okay : 15 minutes to sagrada familia on foot, 15 minutes by metro to the barcelonetta beach without any changes. However, we were charged extra 20 euros for cleaning when we arrived. WTF? Cleaning is not included in the room price of a three star hotel?? That made me quite mad. The staff when checking in was extreeemely slow. My mother types faster than the young lady in the reception. I am definitely not staying there again
Nice hotel not far from Sagrada Familia. It is clean and people are kind there. Only issue I had is that trucks driving on the streets below are making windows shaking quite a bit with lot of noise. Apart from that I can definitively suggest it.
Clean room, large and very nice bathroom, AC ok, a small fridge , the staff was very friendly. I didn't get the breakfast, but you have some shops close to the hotel. They change the towels every four days or when you leave them in the bathroom. You have a metro station who gets you straight to the Barceloneta beach , you can walk to the Sagrada or to the Parc Guell , but remember to book the tickets online.
The hotel is rather standard even though rated as 3* - I found the services provided rather poor in comparison with the price (no daily change of the bathroom equipment, breakfast not included in the price....)
