Nice hotel with elevator. Easy check in with automated machine for late arrive.

hotel location was great and area was very nice and calm . away from the centre crowd but still very nearby!!!

Good condo to rent as a couple or family - in a safe part of town, close to the Metro, and close to the Sagrada Familia. The washing machine was very helpful, just note that the dryer is per European standards not US (I.e. either run a 150m long cycle or be prepared to hang dry). Would be nice if they just stocked the toiletries in the unit instead of on a request basis with the (very nice) building manager.

We stayed 2 nights from Jan. 17th & 18th, 2015. A family of 2 adults, a 14 yr old, & 11 year old. First off we loved the location. A 1 min walk from the parking garage, restaurants, grocery stories, etc. Right off Avenue De Gaudi which had tons of cafes, restaurants, bakery, etc. 3 min walk to the hospital, and 10 min walk to Familia Sagrada. The apartment was clean and a great size. Could've easily slept 5. It had 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The staff was friendly as well. However I was disappointed that for a 4 star hotel/apt we only had warm water, no hot! We tried showers at many different times and it never got hot. I had seen a review about this and I think we got that Apt, which was #23. I mean seriously you could've given a baby a shower in it…it was pretty much tepid. Also on the first day the safe broke as we were trying to go to dinner. The staff tried to fix it but could not. They offered to move us the following day into a smaller room, but we would've had to stop our sightseeing and come back to do so. It wasn't worth it to do so, unfortunate because I chose this apt over another because it had a safe. We did feel safe in the area and the apt. was secure. However one night late around 11 pm someone buzzed our room, there is no peephole so we did not answer the door. The free wi-fi was decent. We were in an apt on the street & it also had a balcony. We were not bothered by any noise. I would expect hot water at any 4 star hotel, we had hotter water at a 2 star hotel in Rome! Had we had hot water this would've easily been a much better experience and higher rating. We used the Parking garage that is a minute walk away. It's €45 for 3 days if you go to attendant and buy the pass instead of paying €30/day. If you use the Hop on Hop off bus you can catch it at the hospital 3 mins walk away, or Familia Sagrada 10 min walk away. There is a city bus stop and metro station literally right across the street but we did not need to use either during our stay. Pros- Clean, modern, great location, good for large families Cons- Shower may not be very warm, fixes for issues if desired will require you to give up sightseeing time.

It was my family and I's first time visiting Spain. We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Erik Votel. It was perfect for a family. Our suite had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The unit was modern and cozy for our one week stay. I definitely recommend this hotel especially for families that need a bit more room and want to have a living room/kitchen available.

Our flight arrived early and we showed up at the apartments a few hours before the official check in but the front desk was able to get us into a very clean room early so we could sleep off the jet lag. The front desk then helped us to order some food from a local pizza place. The room had everything needed and even provided an appliance instruction book, that was written in both Spanish and English, for every application appliance in the room. Our flight was departing early on the last day and the front desk again went above and beyond and ordered us a taxi for the morning and it arrived exactly in time.

This apartment was wonderful for us. We checked in late but it went very smoothly. We loved the location and stood on our terrace and people watched. It was in a wonderful neighborhood and we really felt that added to our enjoyment. Rachel helped with our transportation issue the day we were leaving. There was a taxi strike so she called the port to find out where our ship was and gave us step by step instructions on how to use the metro to get to our ship. It was an easy walk to get to Sagrada Familia. So many little places to eat along the way.

Flew in from southern Spain. The taxi ride from the airport was €35, dropping us off right across the street from the apartment. Check-in was painless, just call prior to travel to get the access code for the main gate door. There were 3 apartments per every floor. Ours had a queen size bed with our own bath room. The kids (teenagers) had 2 twin beds. The second bathroom was by the main door. The apartment came with appliances, one central tv and wi-fi. Not much of a view because you will be in the heart of the city. No issues for us, we had a site seeing agenda and made the most of it. The location is within a short walk to several restaurants and adjacent to the Metro. The hop on hop off bus stop (12) was also across the street. There was also a taxi waiting area just up the street. All in all, this was a good location for us. Highly recommended.

very nice place...we made the reservation on a travel site, arrived after 6PM when the reception was closed ...one could get in the place ....with the Vokel registration number which we didn't have...we started ringing and ringing and someone finally let us in...once in it's great.

Fabulous experience for a fabulous price. 24-hour check-in through a nifty, computerized screen right when you walk in, so it was as easy as could be despite our late-night arrival. The reception desk was friendly and helpful, and they were available for anything we needed. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-stocked (i.e. a washer, glasses, etc). The only downside was since we only stayed for 3 nights, they didn't clean our apartment during our stay. Regardless, it was easy to maintain a clean apartment, and the location right across from the metro and right down the street from La Sagrada Familia made it perfect for our short stay. I highly recommend it!

Great location that is right next to Metro and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Also super close to Sangrada Familia. This was our first time using an apartment and it convinced us to use it again. It was great to have a fridge and washer/ dryer!

Very good for family reunions. Friendly staff and convenient location

Our suite was excellent and provided ample room for our family of 6, nearly all adults. Nice that it had its own washer/dryer combo. The best part of our stay was Victor at the reception desk. He happily and promptly helped us with several issues/requests, mostly unrelated to the room. As our windows faced Industria (street) it would be nice to have shades that darkened the room a bit more. Also, the room has its own water heater which proves inadequate if multiple people take showers in a short time frame. Because it is electric, it takes longer to reheat. A tenant can manage this with proper planning if they understand right away that this is an issue.

I have been there for 4 days with my family and enjoyed a lot Barcelona. The apartment is very nice and well located. It is very close to La Sagrada familia church. Everything was perfect. Recommend it to everyone who are planning to visit Barcelona.

Overally satisfactory, but amemities and service should have been better for a 4-dtar hotel. Ideal location

This was a very nice place. The staff was very helpful and patient. These suites would be a good place to spend some extended time. It was near the Segrada Familia, and many nice cafes and restaurants. However, it was a little further away from many of other sites in Barcelona. It does have a hop on - hop off city bus tour stop adjacent to the suites. We didn't use the bus, but it looks like a great way to scope out the city. The was full of young people and families with children. Seemed like a safe place as well.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this location. This was our first stay in an apartment style hotel. We found the apartment to be clean, neat, and modern. The neighborhood was very beautiful with a nice walking street nearby (with lots of restaurant options) and La Sagrada Familia only a few blocks away. We had a full kitchen and even had a washer/dryer available. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we would definitely recommend Eric Vokel Industria Suites for anyone staying in Barcelona (especially great for families or groups since the apartment can accommodate up to 6)

The manager provided good service and very helpful advice.

I loved staying here the people were nice they helped us by giving us a map and telling us where to go and how to get there. Do remember that this is an apartment not a hotel and there is not always someone in the reception area. it was nice to have 2 rooms beds were comfy and we has free wifi. Coming from far away it was nice to have wifi so we could call our families. That was more of a value then you can Imagen. The 3 of us would stay here again it was great!

Wonderful, would recommend it to anyone. Everything we needed was included, staff was friendly and helpful. La Sagrada Familia is a 5minute walk down, the metro is literally across the street! Great neighborhood!
