Stay here for 2 nights after staying closer to the city centre and found it to be a great alternative, being only a 10 minute walk to the stunning beach and a selection of (pricey) restaurants, bars and nightlife. We stayed on the top floor, and the apartment was very spacious and clean despite being slightly tired in places. The lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful, and I found the pre-stay and check-in process to be smooth. Overall, a great alternative to the middle of the city with the apartment providing a great base to explore the quieter Olimpic Village, yet still within easy walking distance to the beach and Sagrada Família.
I stayed here for a long weekend with my best pal, and we had such a ball! The apartment was in a great location with great views from the balcony. It also faces south so we could sit in the sunshine before heading out. We were so close to the centre of the action and the beach The place was spotlessly clean and the right size for two people. Would really recommend this place to stay when you are exploring barcelona Also the lady that runs it was so nice. I left my bikini there by accident and she sent it back to me very quickly which I thought was very kind and thoughtful super holiday
Very good location, nice rooms with all needed for living with child. We asked for baby crib and stuff brought it! Very clean and white linen. Close to subway and center. Only one minus: if you want to cook by yourself, you have to buy all stuff, including salt, oil, even knives, Because those, that exist are blunt.
Recently had a 3 night stay with 3 other girlfriends, difficult to find initially (probably due to being more tired than anything) but when we got there an hour or so early, was greeted with a smile and our room was ready! Very helpful with directions and explanations and recommendations for the area. There is a hair dryer and towels! I couldn't find them on the website or booking.com but after bringing our own, (it was a self catering apartment and wasn't expecting them) it was nice to have them there. Basic supplies also there to get you through your stay, also had a washing machine! Balcony had a great view of the Sagrada Familia and was only a 10 min walk to the metro stations and beach! Great bus and metro links in Barcelona in general as well as from the apartment. We got a travel pass as a Spanish friend told me the taxis would rip us off. Would definitely recommend as it's just off the main areas things were much much cheaper as many people told us Barcelona was expensive and it wasn't even nearly as bad as what we were expecting. Supermarkets and little cafes everywhere! Good WiFi too!
This is my first time travelling Barcelona and I preferred to book one apartment close to metro station and downtown. The location of this apartment is just 5-8 mins from metro station (Marina), and we can walk to the beach in around 15 mins. We checked in on sat so we followed the instruction to get the room key and pass code in a easy way. More importantly, restaurants and supermarkets are all around us. I recommend this apartment to someone who look forwarding a peaceful and convenience location.
We stayed for 5 nights on the sixth floor. It is advertised as a studio but is really a sef-contained one-bedroomed apartment. It does have a small balcony as well. Pros: We managed to get a large apartment for the price of a hotel room. Washer/Dryer and the microwave were very useful. Large fridge and the induction cooker worked well. Central location with a 6-8 minute walk to two Metro stations. Supermarket and a Telecom shop (Lebara SIM, 4G Data, 1Gb for 6 EUR) across the street. Pans Granier bakery/patisserie on the way to the Metro quickly became our favourite place for breakfast . Wifi was good in all the rooms. Felt like a very safe neighborhood. Cons: There wasn't any housekeeping while we were there. Functional but Spartan furnishings. Lighting was poor throughout the apartment.
The apartment is so clear to the main city park and to the gothic district. After getting my bearings of the city traveling around the city to the major attractions was simple. The metro station was three blocks away and the beach only four blocks away. The apartment was a good size and had a balcony overlooking the Main Street. It was not loud. There is a washing machine, hair dryer, cooking utensils and china. A large refrigerator. We cooked our breakfast in the mornings. The supermarket and bakery are a block away. Beds were comfortable. The staff was available during the office hours. It really felt like I was a resident of the city staying there.
Stayed here for 5 nights with my friends and had the 2nd best holiday i have ever had in my life! On arrival we were greated by two friendly ladies, one lady could speak fluent english so she was very helpful! She told us if we needed her for anything to let her know throughout the stay but she had already informed us on arrival about the shop next door and across the street etc so we didnt need to bother her the rest of our trip! Beach is right at the bottom of the road about a 10 min walk, beautiful restaurants all along the beach, fabulous bars doing 2 for 1 cocktails in the evening which is fab after a day relaxing at the beach! We were going to sonar a few of the nights and it was a perfect location only around 10 euro in taxi! Such a quiet area and so relaxing you can walk to all the other districts such as el borne or las ramblas but probbaly a good 20-30 min walk which is totally doable but we taxied each time onlly around 5 euro. I stayed in a 5 star hotel in las ramblas last august and it was not for me far too busy you are paranoid someone will snatch your bag it is so stressful so going to las ramblas for the day, for lunch, dinner etc is just perfect then to get back to your nice quiet apartment is just exactly what you want! When i was in las ramblas last year i spent most of my time in villa olympica! Only down side is people may like there apartment cleaned which doesnt happen in this apartment but there is mops/brushes etc you can do it yourself! Also beds arnt changed which would have been nice but had a blast none the less! We got no complaints except on last morning we had to be out by 10 and i had felt unwell the previous night so we were still sleeping until 12 and didnt leave until 1 as we had to clean apartment the lady wasnt to pleased but we were more than happy to do this we also recieved a £80 fine this may be because a few plates etc broke would have been nice to have been notified about this coming off my bank card instead of just taking it but awel still didnt care as we all had such an amazing time!! I Will be returning next year i also have allot of friends who travel to barcelona every year and i will be reccomending these apartments! Thank you!!
The bed is just awful. Very bad, cheap bed. The apartments need more cleaning and charm. Can be better even for a budget accommodation. There is no reception and you check in via a machine. There is convenient store next door.
Travelled here with friends and stayed for 3 nights. Arrived after office closed however instructions as how to use key code etc were given to isn't email and easy to follow. Apartment was clean, and has a nice sized living space with dining table, sofa and coffee table. There is not enough sofa space for 4 people though. Kitchen has fridge, freezer, toaster, microwave, all cleaning equipment needed is provided. The bathroom has a large shower and sink, washing machine and clothes drier. The only mirror is in the bathroom which was a pain as 4 women trying to get ready was difficult. No full length mirrors either. Storage was good in bedroom with 2 single beds. Air conditioning is in hallway too. Balcony has a ire of Sagrada familia- we walked from the apartment it took 30 mins. Only 10 min walk to the port, great restaurants bars and food there and the beach is lovely. You can literally walk anyway you need to from here. Or the metro is close. The T10 tickets is very good allowing all of your party to travel in the 1 card for 9,95 a total of 10 times. There is a small supermarket next door and a Lidl 2 minutes walk away. Wine is as cheap as 0.89 cent there! The Turkish restaurant 2 doors down us fab! Takeaway or eat in. We ate there twice. I would stay here again but maybe ask for more mirrors 😂
