This boutique hotel should not have 5 stars. Its junior suite was mediocre… the toilet wreaked and the shower doors don’t close properly so you end up with pools of water outside the shower… The overall service was poor… with the exception of a couple people with whom we interacted with, the staff were not really knowledgeable or pleasant. There were non stop disturbances throughout the night… roadworks, cleaning, people talking loudly… and if that was not enough we got a spam call to the room around 11pm! The breakfast was disappointing. If you expect service or quality of high a caliber this hotel is not for you!

Loved our stay at Ohla. We really enjoyed the fantastic rooftop and also had a great dinner at the restaurant next to the lobby. Easy access to loads of shops and food. Close enough to la Rambla to feel like you’re in the middle of the action but just far away enough to not feel overwhelmed. The room was amazing as well. Comfy bed and pillows and the rainfall shower was nice and hot when needed. Would stay again!

I especially liked the great hospitality of the hotel staff. They were extremely accommodating and went the extra mile to make our stay as perfect as possible. The hotel location is in the most prime location in Barcelona if you want to explore the Gothic Quarter and be close to the other attractions. The rooftop views were also amazing!
