Arrived at Barcelona Airport and took a taxi to the Hotel (around 25 Euro or something) Its a bit west of the city centre, but only a couple minute walk from L4 Metro line which will get you right into the city centre and to all the main attractions. The beach is probably within a 10 minute walk, but I didn't go there my self. The pool on the roof is nice, but it's a bit windy which makes it chilly. It's also a bit small so on a busy day, there isn't many seats or places to lie down. As previously mentioned, the perfume in the lobby is quite strong, but there is complementary water and marshmallows when entering. Rooms were comfortable enough. Didn't notice anything bad about the beds or pillows. Staff were friendly, and happy to accomodate and help print things, etc.

The hotel is mostly nice, except for the reception being way too heavily perfumed and the Wi-Fi being slower than a dead snail. The location is far from downtown Barcelona, but close to a big shopping center and the beach.

Beds and pillows uncomfortable ( the bed was hard the pillows soft) but the overall feeling and location was good . The hop on hop off busses went straight from hotel and the bar had lovely views for drinks buffet breakfast was ok

This is my second time at this hotel. Checking in and out is always a breeze - very courteous and pleasant experience. The rooms are nice - modern decor, all amenities in the washroom in case you forget something. Mini bars and flat screens. Nice 13th floor bar/snack restaurant and pool - Breakfast was also good...would like to have some more cheese options, and maybe some eggs, but otherwise fine. Gym is small but functional. Location is good - right by the beach, and 15 min cab ride to center of town. Tons of restaurants nearby - would return

We have stayed at the Barcelona beach on previous trips to Europe, but tried this Marriott at the recommendation of family. We were quite impressed by the service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast service was phenomenal. We were using the hotel as a gathering place for a large family group flying in from different US locations for a cruise, and we were very thankful for the help the hotel staff provided. There are lots of great places to eat nearby, and there is a modern shopping mall across the street. We'll be back.

This hotel is a great location for the conference centre and just a short subway ride to the city centre and the action. There is a pretentiousness about this hotel that is really not substantiated - I feel it is overpriced for the average location. The rooms are clean, the reception is friendly and the pool is very nice - an average stay. Unfortunately our last night there was unbearable with the music festival (all night all day) and the difficulty getting transport to the airport because of all the traffic and many inebriated people walking the streets. All in all - our stay there was okay.

BOoked last minute cruise and most of city hotels already sold out. I wanted to use points. This was a little farther from center than I wanted, but so glad I booked. got great upgrade to high floor suite overlooking sea. We had our daughter with us so worked perfectly having extra room. Breakfast was delicious and expansive. Staff was incredible. Free business center. Incredible rooftop bar where we had light dinner overlooking the sea and unfinished church. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone. Great use of points 🙂

Firstly I would like to say that I travel a lot so have a lot of experience of hotels and secondly I'd like to say that this hotel will be listed in my top 10 of bad hotels. The rooms are brown, with brown furniture.....you wake up feeling like your sleeping in a cupboard box. The decor is aged, the beds rock hard. The only feature which suggests a revenue generation for this hotel is its venue....next door to the exhibition centre. The furniture is wrong.....only there's only 1 English channel on the tv.

I have to say that I am impressed with this hotel an amazing hotel and staff. As soon a I walked in the Asian girl (I wish I can remember her name) was extremely helpful and gave us the option to get a nice room, which we waited for a little bit. They couldn't have the room ready by 3pm, which wasn't a big deal for me and fiancee, and the staff went above and beyond by upgrading us to a higher floor. The girls who checked in and blonde with light eyes that helped us after in the afternoon by giving us the upgrade were extremely helpful and nice. Will definitely going back to this hotel. Hotel has amazing rooftop bar and pool.

The hotel has a really beautiful pool area with a great view, great poolside service and excellent menu. I actually stayed in one morning to enjoy the pool and the sunny Barcelona weather, had a burger and a drink, It's also located 5 minutes away from the beach.
