Do not stay in winter. Rooms cannot be cooled as air-conditioning is switched to heating only and controlled by the hotel. An comfortably hot stuffy room even with the window open. Expected to be able to control the room temperature at a four star hotel.

My husband and I stayed here during our recent visit to Barcelona. The hotel is located very close to a tram stop, bus stop and a metro, so the location is definitely ideal. The interiors of the hotel are very well designed and pleasant to the eye. Their staff are polite and friendly. The cleaning staff made it a point to give us new towels even when we said we don't really need them (we just find it unnecessary to use new towels everyday!) The room was unbearably warm at night, so I called reception (at 2am!). Apparently air conditioning does not work during winter, only the heating works. The receptionist immediately came up to our room and turned the heating off. It was still too warm, so we left our window open. Minor inconvenience that was solved very fast. The bathroom door did not have a lock! We most certainly would like to be able to lock the bathroom door when we are staying at a hotel. I understand it's how their design works but it is not practical for hotels.

Great location ,there is a mall just across the street. Stuff are very responsive and friendly. The breakfast buffet has everything, a lot of varities for everyone, ,,the Rooms are big, clean and relaxing, the food is great ,,it's worth the money

All the staff are very friendly. It was nice to be in a quieter area of Barcelona. Large mall opposite the hotel with an open terrace to eat outside in the evenings. Much cheaper than eating in the hotel. Metro stop nearby.

Fantastic place, great spacious rooms and good breakfast. The showers specifically are amazing (waterfall showers). It's not a resort, it's more of a hotel for business meetings and rendez-vous, or just a quiet place to escape to while still being in the city The hotel has a nice rooftop pool with a great view of Barcelona. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely enjoyed my stay!

Though primarily a business hotel, we were there as tourists and they were great! The rooms are nice and well appointed. We were lucky and had an ocean view which meant watching the sunrise every day! The staff were friendly and Julie, at the concierge desk was very helpful! The hotel is well located for using public transit and, as an added bonus, there are cabs out front 24/7! Restaurant/bar has very good food and reasonable prices. This wasn't right downtown, but I would stay here again.

Visiting CCIB in Barcelona the AC is a perfect hotel to stay at. Good service at check in. Good breakfast and a beautiful bar with a nice sea view. Room is good enough with a good bed and a spacy bathroom.

The very best A few weeks ago we stayed at the Marriott AC Hotel Barcelona Forum a wonderful experance. We usually stay in a Hilton Hotel until are experance with the Bonnet Creek Hilton Walt Disney World. (Horrible experance) This hotel in Barcelona was grand the staff all made you feel welcome especially Julie Gourgues, Guest services. From the time we checked into the hotel she was able to help us plain are day. When we had trouble getting tickets she was marvelous and somehow was able to get them for us. From the front desk, housekeeping, open air restaurant on the 14th floor to the staff at breakfast all went out of there way to making us feel comfortable and welcome. I would be negligent if I did not thank the General Manager Nuria Iglesias for running such a fine hotel and the training of the staff. Nuria thank you again for your team. We will be staying at a Marriott whenever we can. Because of are overwhelming experance in Barcelona Marriott and the horrible experance with the Bonnet Creak Hilton at Walt Disney World my wife is in charge of a convention in Chicago and has book rooms and meals with the Marriott instead of the Hilton. Thank you Barcelona Marriott

Visited prior to a conference and also stayed last year. Good decor across the shared spaces (lounge areas etc) and standard but exceptionally clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Beautiful bar on 13th floor with great city and sea views. Lovely service from staff and very welcoming. Good buffet selection for breakfast although quality of coffee not great. The hotel is well positioned for taking the metro into the city (or walking in along the seafront) and is physically connected to the conference centre if you are attending an event there. Overall, will definitely stay again although the rooms can sometimes be noisy when busy (thin walls).

I visited Barcelona and stayed at this hotel mid-September. The hotel is a few subway stops from the airport (about 45 minutes away). The staff was very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. I really liked the the rooftop restaurant and pool area. I stayed here for 4 days.
