Our family stayed here for 5 days, and what a great vacation. This hotel is located in Hastings if you're looking for it on a map. We had a suite so we had plenty of room. It was on the top floor so we had great views and breezes. The beach is right across the street. You do not have to go down a ladder. There is a gate that you access with your room key, then very large steps that go down to the beach. The beach is shared with the Coconut Beach hotel which is great because they have a tiki bar on the beach. Say Hi to Antonio the bartender. The drinks are great and a fair number of locals hang out there too. There is a lady that sells crafts and souvenirs as well. There is some snorkeling from the beach. The surf looks rougher than it really is. The boardwalk starts a little south of the beach so you can walk to some bars and restaurants. Next to the hotel there are some very good restaurants to walk to also. We had fun trying them all. The Blue Room, a pizza place, a boutique restaurant at the driveway of the hotel. There is also a convenient store you can walk to that has all the staples you'll need. We also had breakfast at the hotel which has a buffet $$$ and a la carte items that are more reasonable. The staff was very nice. We had a car and went all over the island, so the hotel was in a good location. You can take the bus or the local taxis, which are the ones with the crazy horns. The hotel pool looks very small on the website, but there's plenty of room and we loved it. The gym was one of the best gyms we ever seen in a caribbean hotel. Would definitely stay here again

Very nice and clean hotel! Good location with a beautiful beach across the street, you just have to descend a ladder but the beach that you will find is like paradise! Super friendly staff, specially with kids, everyone was so nice and helpful. We had a wonderful vacation and we hope to come back soon!!!

I stayed just a few nights this month and the hotel was nice. Clean and spacious room, pretty good breakfast buffet and quiet. The back of the hotel is a view of the old neighborhood, while the front should have an ocean view.

Cleanliness, Service, Rooms, Food worth your investment. Quiet environment of the hotel surrounding really adds to your vacation. Coconut beach across the street is quite good too. Nearby try Mama Mia for italian food. For indians you've got so many indian restaurants, surprisingly Tagore's is the one you should try. Courtyard Marriott helps you yo book all outdoor adventurous activities. Do meet Margaret for great customer service at the restaurant.

Our first stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Barbados but will not be our last. If you're looking for a place to relax and not for a place that tells you what to do and when or what time to do it. All I know is the entire staff was truly caring on how our day was going or if we needed anything. And two lovely ladies that worked in the dining area, Miss Andrea and Miss Repleye were especially kind caring and courteous. We would not hesitate to return here.

We picked the Courtyard Bridgetown primarily because it was available on points during the high season. Hotels in Barbados can be quite pricey and we were looking for a basic place to stay in advance of our cruise. The Courtyard is located in the Garrison area of Bridgetown, with access to the beach. In fact, the Courtyard, although across the street from the beach, has beach rights with one of the beachside hotels. The rooms are what you would expect from a Marriott courtyard - large and basic, with a decent selection of TV channels and free basic wifi. The hotel has a small restaurant in the lobby. Prices were typical for a hotel, as was the food. We did find that there were a number of very nice restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. As well, the area is quite safe, with many people strolling the boardwalk after dark. For a one or two night stay the hotel is great. However, I would think twice before booking a beach vacation there. While it has everything it is a ways away from the action!

An efficient and international-feeling hotel for our first couple of nights in Barbados. Could be used for a longer stay with the beach close by. It is on the main road between the airport and the Port. Buzo Italian Restaurant is attached and we had a most excellent meal, but make a reservation beforehand.

My daughter and I visited Barbados for the first time April 2017. I'm so happy I chose the Courtyard Bridgetown to stay in. Everyone we encountered was SUPER helpful, kind and friendly without being intrusive. We went on a tour (with a privately hired driver) so we saw the location of many other properties. This was the best choice for us. It was close enough to Bridgetown, St. Lawrence Gap and Oistins without being in the middle of all the action. We also appreciated the restaurant on property while taking in local eateries a stone's throw away. The beach is private access across the street at Coconut Court. I highly recommend this property and that is saying a lot because I'm super picky.

A clean, quiet, comfortable room with access to a sandy beach just across the road. The man made reef provides for some easy snorkeling (we saw turtles!) and there are patches of shade and chairs available on the sand. Also within walking distance to the boardwalk and restaurants. They have a luggage storage available, an exercise room, and the staff was friendly. We skipped the very expensive breakfast buffet for adults but it is free for kids.

Good breakfast service and helpful staff. Great hotel of choice for a few days of relaxation or for business meetings. Excellent board rooms making it a good choice for small or large meetings. Restaurant at the hotel offers a wide selection. Personally recommending the Shrimp Wrap.
