Like many big cities Baltimore has turned into a real crap hole. It's sad to see bums and junkies wandering around boards on many businesses that have closed due to a crappy economy

This property was right in the heart of a very bad neighborhood with rats and roaches on the streets. The staff at the hotel were very unfriendly and non-helpful. I would not recommend this hotel.

The area is close to the convention center... about a 5-8 minute walk. Very conveniently located at the price point. However, the neighborhood is really, REALLY run down. Ask staff about the parking situation. Metered parking seems to be free from 6 pm to 8 am. Overall, despite the neighborhood, for me it was worth it given the cost of the stay. The room was clean and staff was courteous, friendly and helpful.

I liked how you needed a key just to get in the building.

It was a great experience beside one of the staff in the morning she has a nasty attitude

Will stay again.. Nice staff and okay breakfast. A lot of noise but it is downtown.

Location wasnt appealing but hotel itself was nice. Clean and updated.

Even though the hotel was in a les desired area, it was clean and pleasant. I didn't like that i wasn't told about having to pay a deposit when i booked the room. I've been home since March 30,2019 and haven't received my deposit back.

Safe parking was completely non existent. The hotel itself was nice once you got inside, but make sure you don't have a car.

Elevator was broken for three days. I had to carry my suitcase down four stories on the day I checked out. There was a mouse in my room.

Tried to cancel due to lack of parking, which was a priority for us as we had a lot of gear in the car. We’d only booked an hour previously, so our booking didn’t affect much of anything. They refused to let us cancel. Parking was even more of a nightmare than initially thought as it involved two commerical lots with particular rules and access restrictions. Office equipment down as well, though the desk did some printing for me. Also, it’s a bad neighborhood, so walking around at night is a bad idea. Very frustrating. A room on the 5th fl was difficult to sleep in because of all the shouting from the street late into the night. Even the AC didn’t hide the noise. I won’t book La Quinta for the foreseeable future.

At check in was not told any details or amenities, not even the room number. Just sign and swipe. The sheets had fresh blood stain on side at bottom, maybe from person making it. Called and was immediately changed. Only one elevator.....wait time was sometimes 10 mins. As we waited and waited for elevator before check out a housekeeper exited and looked at us and allowed door to close. Waited another 5 minutes! The day desk staff was very helpful in giving us directions and a map Check out was very pleasant and apologies made numerous times.

Love the people working at this hotel… Very friendly and very professional , very helpful

Good staff, but location is in rough area and no hotel parking only valet.
