It was quiet and near the beach. The hotel seems run down and the staff leave work materials/tools in plain sight which makes it more obvious on how old and run down this hotel is, I would not stay here again.
We had an awesome stay at pelangi for 7 nights. It is in a perfect location away from the craziness of Kuta but with a beachfront location and swim up pool bar what is not to love. The one downfall this hotel has is the coffee is terrible. ☹️ So breakfast being included they offer coffee every day and the first day we thought maybe it was just a bad batch but no it is just that bad. Tried ordering room service coffee but still again it is either tasting burnt or way watered down. The room service was awesome by the way. Just get a new coffee system and we will be back for another stay for sure 😉
Hotel was very pleasant with great access to the beach and a wonderful pool.
I stayed with my boyfriend for 3 nights and could not be happier about our choice. Although the hotel is not new (you could tell from the tiles in the floor and bathroom), I thought it was pretty well maintained. The room, located in the second floor, halfway between the lobby and the pool (recommended!) was huge and had a big comfortable bed and the pool area was also wonderful (sometimes they run out of beach chairs though, because everyone leaves their towels on top forever!). The location was good, although not so close to Kuta (town); however, the hotel had complementary shuttles going to the centre every 2 hours, which was very nice, so we liked it. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the beach that is in front (Seminyak), although huge, is not good for swimming (the water is dirty and with too many waves). Breakfast food was also good, but the restaurant in general was average (there are really good restaurants in Kuta, for same or less money). The hotel staff was very friendly too. Altogether it was a great stay and we would definitely love to stay at Pelangi Bali again!
