The staff was overall excellent (polite and helpful). This property seems to be geared toward families... so if you do not care for "kid noise" I would give it a hard pass. Upon check-in I was sternly counseled of not getting tattoo ink on the bedding. Lol...I was not even wearing a Bintang tank top nor shirtless carrying a beer with braided hair! :)) The room was missing some areas regarding cleanliness. The drawers holding the tea and coffee looks like it was not cleaned in ages. The room aircon can not be set lower than 20 deg. C...so the humidity was a bit uncomfortable (enhanced by guests not keeping the hall corridor door closed) It was an interesting experience though and was happy to experience Hard Rock during my short visit.

The Hard Rock Hotel Bali, is probably one of the best resort style hotels in Kuta. If you are looking for an all inclusive location, with pools, activities etc then this is the place. But the activities arent super, most of it is for smaller children, including the pool slides etc. The food in the restaurants is overpriced and not great quality, none of the buffet food was any good, except the cook to order food like Masala Dosa which was fantastic...but thats all i ate every morning..... The service was great, but the use of charging to the room is not very transparent, so instead get a credit card with minimal fees to use instead. The area is lively, but very busy, noisy. The location is ideal as its very central, but traffic in and out of Kuta is a nightmare. Good location, clean hotel, good entertainment, with live music every night, with good services and great people. Food not so great and very expensive.

If you are into a western style family orientated hotel then this is a good option. Pros are that it’s safe and convenient, huge and good for families. They really have thought of everything to stay within the hotel though , such as: access to hotel is not friendly, one side is a steepish hill and the side is a locked door, many rooms have little tiny balconies, not large enough for a chair! The fridge temp is set to 12 degrees so you can’t store much in there, not many allocated smoking areas, hotel is so big and you need to walk around to the front to have a smoke. No real Bali vibes. Area of Kuta is too congested! Would suggest other parts of Bali for a more enjoyable holiday.

We loved our stay at Hard Rock Bali - so much so that our kids did not wish to leave the premises. The pool and slides were great and the daily activities were a hit. Would definitely look at staying again. Staff were only always to accommodating.

We found the hotel to be too overcrowded and not enjoyable, its tired and old. The breakfast buffet was awful, very basis dishes and restaurant area had food scraps on the floor, was untidy and felt like a food hall or cafeteria.

Great airport stay

Nice rooms , wonderful, bed great bar . Unclean pool and crowded . Nice staff. Food adequate. Cool super crowded beach road nearby with a narrow long beach walk .

We have stayed at Hard Rock for a number of years., We are in our 70s now and find your access to the pool area becoming impossible for us to manage the steps. Hundreds of people go to the pool area. And there is a door on that level but behind that door is a gym. I have only ever seen max 3-4 people there at a time. Older people need access through those Gyn doors. 16 steps is just too many yo go up and down maybe 2_3 times a day maybe more.

Hard Rock Hotel need to step up and be better!

Hotel room was dirty. Blood stains or red wine on bed cover . Big Holes on bed sheets. Breakfast was okey. Dinner buffet was terrible. Only good thing was the pool for the kids.
