It was nice, friendly staff

There was nothing unique about the property. The place smell like mildew and mold there was no restaurant that was advertised on the website the staff was indifferent trying to gets towels was a problem the pool was dirty no convenient vending area

One of the staff wasn't pleasant at all to deal with, was put in a room at first that wasn't clean and it wasn't what I expected, and I had to leave my car in a very unsafe area and had to walk from where I parked across the street back to the hotel,I don't recommend this resort

I was injured at this hotel on Thursday June 15th by a broken bed rail. Blood was everywhere and my wife went to inform the front desk and nothing was done. No asked to come see it nor offered a different room. We had to get up at 6am to go find another hotel and spend an extra $1000 just for a safe hotel. I wrote an incident report and no one has yet to contact me or offer a refund for my inused days being that my room was unsafe with my kids. I have all the pictures and at this point I'm going to have have to contact an attorney because Im a diabetes and the wound has yet heal. On top of that I hobbled to the bathroom in the middle of the night and there were roaches. Not water bugs but roaches. Stay away from this property, it is unsafe and they don't care.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean but kind of worn and torn. Overall, the amenities were nice and we could walk to the beach so we were fine, especially considering the price was very reasonable. It is also close to everything, just needs a few touch ups

The hallways smelled like smoke or weed. The room had sticky floors and counters, stained towels, lack of kitchen dishes and utensils, loose and leaky toilet, burnt out light bulbs, tub that drained really slow so you showered in a puddle. Will not stay there again no matter how cheap.

The registration personnels when above and beyond their durties to see to it we, my wife and I were given a room worth staying in after assigning into two rooms that had roaches sighted running in the kitchen and bathroom once the lights were turned on. This hotel should never be considered a Resort. We got nothing nothing for the price they changed us for Resort fees. The management is not inspection it's facility. Maybe someone from Orbit should book a room for observation as to it's conditioning. I promise you I wouldn't recommend this facility to any of my family or friends to schedule a room at the Patelle Resort for OYO in Myrtle Beach. I'm sorry I didn't take the serious views of some of the others guest who stayed there. What they presented in the photos for booking was nothing nothing as to what you'll see upfront upon arrival. My last and only visit/stay at Patelle Resort in Myrtle Beach.

Very clean

The staff was very rude. Double charged me. Was not clear at all where to park. Rooms had roaches.

It was not as described. The staff was rude, it was unclean, whirl pool was broke, elevator broke, toilets broke, AC broke, remotes broke. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The shower was missing a shower head, so taking a shower felt like getting hosed down with a pressure washer. I turned on the hair dryer and it turned red hot and smoking like it was about to explode. There was no toilet paper holder. On top of that the sink in the bathroom was clogged and took about 15 min to finally go down the drain. Paint was peeling off the walls all through the the hote it was just a bad experience in general. Hotel needs alot of work.

I didn't like the fact that you had to go through the parking lot to get to the pool. The upkeep of the garage was dirty. The phone in our room never worked. There was no pots or pans in the room.The room next to ours had a baby and other kids that kept us up through the middle of the night, The check in was a joke, someone was training and the line was out the door.

Looked great once i got there. After a 3 hr. drive. But they did not have my reservation, even though i had a confirmation # and email verification as well. The hotel couldn't do anything and politely just threw their hands up and said sorry. I had to call orbitz and never got thru to them just automated voice options that sent me round and round. After an hr I left and drove back after dinner another 3 hrs.

I didnt like that i was told check in was at 3pm and my room wasnt ready. Then comes 4pm and my room was still not ready. Once i got.in my room there was dishes and trash in the sink hair all in my floor matt for the bathrooms and the trash was never taken out which they hid underneath the kitchen sink

Past 5pm by the time they had a room ready. They want $35 to check in early. Should have gotten $35 back for them being an hour past.

Nothing I will not stay there ever again

At first glance its seemed like a decent property. Once inside, that was a different story. The inside looks as if someone tried to flip an old hotel, by adding fresh paint and all the junkyard stuff they could find. Some beds were without box springs and low to the ground (we had 3 rooms), the metal bedframes stuck out way beyond the bed so your leg/feet hits it, and worst of all i went to make my kids bed in the morning and roaches crawled out! At that point I was completely done. While at the front desk to report the incident another guest was complaining of finding a needle in his room. If you absolutely need a place to stay (bc this is probably the cheapest right on the beach), then grap yourself a can of raid and give it a try. Otherwise, skip this place.
