The check-in process was very friendly, simple, and quick, which was good. But there was a lot of noise all night long, and they have virtually no breakfast, in spite of advertising a full breakfast. There are just waffles, a bit of cereal, milk, and orange juice. No protein.

I was definitely expecting something a little less than what I got because it was so inexpensive.for but it was extremely nice nice place nice pool and especially nice receptionist. It was a little loud at night but besides that it was a very safe place.

This property is 100% horrible. We booked a room and told them we will be paying nightly. We got the bottom floor i'm disabled and I have a service.Dog and a heart condition. Went to go pay for the room the next day with no warning. They said, no, we've already booked that room while we were still in it with no warning. And I was in La, and the hotel is in Bakersfield, so I had to drive back from l. AI wasn't able to get out by 11 o'clock because they did not inform us that They booked a room out from under us and then on top of it to make matters worse. I made. I tried to walk right in our room at 9 o'clock in the morning and woke our children up. And they are toddlers, so you know, they didn't go back to sleep.

Don't let the area or the price scare you away from this hotel. There's a Walmart across the street, a Denny's that shares the parking lot, a food truck in the adjoining Chevron parking lot that is a little expensive but has excellent food. There's a lot of shops within walking distance. I have stayed in much more expensive motels that had much worse service and half the amenities that the vagabond has. Management does try to make your stay the best they can with what they have. The property is dog friendly and they have several grass areas. if you bring your dog there please pick up after it, the grass areas even have little stations with doggy poop bags, so use them! Lol. In summary, you definitely get your money's worth which for $55 anywhere else isn't going to be much so be happy that they choose to give you more
