This an affordable motel and relatively clean. I've been coming here for at least 10 years off in when visiting family. It's in need of some renovations to the bathrooms and carpet that looks a bit worn and stained. My B bed sheets looked a bit dingy and not as clean as I would like. Also pillows were sparse and very flat and not very comfortable.The Shower did not function very well. Even with the curtain pulled fully water went straight to the back wall and onto the floor. The floor showed signs of black mildew around the shower proof that this has been going on for a while. The shower head also looked discolored with black buildup. Upon walking in there was a pungent skunk smell that lingered in the halls for the days that I stayed. A friend came to pick me up and also mentioned it. Overall a basic stay next time I may pay a bit more and go elswhere with standards more to my comfort level.

I arrived at my destination an hour early before check in and decided to stop by to check if my room or any room was available for me to check in as I had been driving all night. The lady at the counter said no other rooms were available and that my room was not ready, nor had they started cleaning it. Which I figured no problem, check in is until 3pm anyway. I went for a drive came back around 3ish PM only to find out that my room was still not ready, and it that it would be another half hour to an hour. I didn’t get an explanation on what was the issue nor offered another room or some type of courtesy discount. I decided to wait inside the lobby as I was tired or driving around. While I was waiting other customers were arriving and checking in with no issues. Around 3:30PM there was a shift change it seemed like, and I went back up to the counter to check on my room, and it just so happened that it was ready. I’m not sure if the previous lady didn’t want to help me or if I rubbed her the wrong way, but I am NEVER staying at that location again.

For the price we paid, the property needs a major facelift. It has a very bad odor. The rooms are filthy, trash left from previous guests. We were charged more at the motel than what Orbit quoted us. I must say the lady at the front desk was great. But there’s a guy who I spoke to once and he’s none too excited about his job. Never again will we stay there.

Highlights: soft sheets, wonderfully comfortable bed, dark room. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast looked like it was decent (had to leave too early to eat - runs from 7a - 10a). Lowpoints: elevator and 2nd floor hallway reeked of marijuana. Smelled it when I checked in around 5pm and after going out and returning at 10pm, it still reeked. Bedside alarm went off in the middle of the night - I had not touched the clock radio alarm so it was pretty startling. From now on, I'll remember to make sure everything is turned off but since this never happened before in years of hotel stays, I'm guessing that housekeeping normally turns it off from a previous guest's stay??

The woman behind the counter when we are right had terrible customer service skills. She bordered on being rude. The room it’s self was not very nice and there was no light in the bathroom. When we informed her that we needed a light in the bathroom she wrote it down, but did not get it fixed. When I asked her about it later in the evening she said that lady had gone home and they would fix it tomorrow. I told her we were leaving in the morning and she just shrugged. I think she should’ve offered us another room, but she totally dismissed us. The fan in the room turn so slowly it never moved any air. The pillows were hard and it remained hot in the room most of the evening. We will never stay here again

Property was very aged. I think the carpet needs to be cleaned in room 301. After walking around the room barefoot and getting in the shower, my feet left black marks on the shower floor.

Overall it was a good experience. The room was clean, however, it could use some updating as the room looked worn with stains on carpet and furnishings.

For some strange reason my key card would not work after the maids cleaned my room . This happened two days in a row . I had to go to the desk to get the key card reset twice . Weird .

Room was clean, other than that I have nothing good to say. Toilet broke first night, they fixed in the morning. Water pressure in shower was terrible. TV broke 3 times, soneone had to come up each night and fiddle with it, finally replaced it on my 4th night. Breakfast not great, sausage tasted terrible, eggs round patty like, yuck. Manager not very nice. I would not recommend.

Enjoyed my stay. Very quiet and clean. Would book again.

good hotel close to UT campus for my track meets and downtown Austin

The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We did experience some difficulties, however, First, one of our room keys deactivated and we had difficulty getting in. Secondly, we could not get hot water in the shower. It was warm, but not hot, so we took quick showers. We can't be too hard on the hotel since we did not complain about the shower. We were simply too busy. I'm sure had we complained, the shower would have been fixed or we would have been moved to a different room.

I stayed here on the last night of a business trip to be near the airport. It proved to a very nice place exceeding my expectations. I'll definitely stay here again.

Had a great experience! The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We were upgraded to a room better than we had expected simply out of staff kindness. Room was clean and well-kept. I loved all the extra features such as the information binder, the treats, etc. Only a few miles from downtown too!
