i want my money back.. the room was not clean, the blanket had a tear in it. the pool was GREEN! and totally usable! the rooms had not been painted in a very long time. we did not stay for the night we did not feel comfortable . i WANT to get my money back. what is the process for this?

2nd review submitted. Don't know why they refuse to acknowledge place had bed bugs! Showed the live one to front desk. Still a listed property?

We were in town to visit our nephew and thought this hotel looked quaint on the internet. We got there late and found the room in need of repair. The handle on the tub faucet was broken off. Luckily it was laying on the side of the tub and we were able to use it to turn the water on and off! The room was hot and we could only turn the fan on the AC on or off. The knob on the temperature control was missing! There was mold on the inside of the refrigerator and on the bottom of the ice bucket. It was definitely an unfortunate stay!

Dusty area and room felt like it had been cleaned awhile back and sat vacant, so it did not feel freshly cleaned. Good deal for race weekend, but remote from city. So so breakfast.

Location was perfect for my business needs, but the hotel is average at best.

Staff was friendly and helpful. My room needed a new air filter and new carpet; it reeked of mold and old smoke smell when I first opened the door. It improved after about 2 hours of airing out with windows and balcony door fully open. The second night the room smelled ok after it had been aired out all day. Just needs a refurbishment that shows the ownership actually cares about the quality of the customer's sleep and comfort. The location was good, with a really nice mall and varied, healthy eating options nearby.

This place is nestled in the trees overlooking lake travis. The views were awesome and you could literally step off your private balcony onto a hiking trail. The room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again! It's right in the middle of our favorite area of texas!

We were in town for a concert at the Nutty Brown. The hotel was close, clean, very charming, and super affordable. The grounds are gorgeous; you feel like you're staying out in the country rather than at a dull motel in town. Highly recommend.

Staff was super helpful and nice. The room had some bugs in it and tv was about 20 years old. Swimming pool was clean, but furniture around the pool was all cracked and some items unusable. Overall ok.

The front desk didn't always get everythjng right. They didn't bother with all the detsils & worked it out without a lot of hassle. If you like a getaway outside of all the crazy traffic but close enough to the city this is the place. The employees made this stay a great stay. The room was an average room with an average bathroom. What stood out for us was the front desk employees who went out of their way to accommodate us when they appeared to over booked. We were in town for a wedding that was just west od Austin, so this was agreat location. Parking is a little tight but that is part of its quaintness.

The room was clean and neat. A 2 day stay was comfortable and the staff was very polite and helpful

Convient location close to family in Lakeway. Great view of hill country from hotel pool.

decent rooms and price. Really nice staff. Nothing to complain about but the location isn't ideal- $45 cab ride to sixth street.

I attended a festival at the new location of The Backyard. The hotel was less than a mile from the event site. There is a huge outlet mall complex less than two miles away and downtown Austin is less than 20 minutes away. The staff was very helpful. They put a rollaway in my room for a friend who decided to come up at the last minute. Their free breakfast is decent; good coffee, orange juice, milk, cereal and waffles plus some other items. Room was really clean and had its own little patio overlooking the pool. The pillows were really soft and the water pressure in the shower was great!

With the price of the room, I expected it to be more updated. It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
