The hotel is clean and nice, our room was quiet and the service was fine. But there is vagrant activity at the nearby intersection, and a shuttered and decaying restaurant at the entrance to the property. Cleaning these things up would be a marked improvement.
The entrance needs work. There is an abandoned BBQ restaurant in front of the hotel and the sidewalk is very overgrown. They need to clean it up so it doesn't look deserted

We loved that it was right next door to Pappadeauxs. It was clean, comfy bed and the staff wss super friendly and helpful.
The hallways felt noticeably damp; not only did our room feel way too humid but our family in another room had floors that were sopping wet outside their door and in their room both night. The breakfast offered was overpriced and it would have been nice to have a free continental breakfast option, at least a few things, for how much we paid in total. The cafe shop was VERY nice. Great options there. Pool area was very nice but the water was COLD. Asked if they could change temperature at all but the staff said it was a set point. So chilly sadly. Not having daily cleaning service felt a bit of nuisance considering our room smelled a bit rank when we first arrived and our bathroom sink wouldn't drain. The maintenance did come right away and fixed the sink as well as the smell. The humidity of the place never left however and always felt musty. The staff was always courteous, kind, and friendly. Great customer service from start to finish otherwise. Overall I think the cleanliness and dampness issue clouded our stay a bit and felt like the price did not reflect a typical Hilton experience for what we experienced :(

They were remodeling which I wasn’t aware of prior to booking, also I found hair in my bathroom which wasn’t mine when I first entered my room. Other then that the staff was friendly and kind and quite attentive to me during my stay.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately we have no control over the closed Bone Daddy's restaurant. The owner of the restaurant is currently leasing to another restaurant chain and they have not yet begun to remodel. The place was built to look old-timey, not abandoned. Unfortunately the sidewalk is not on our property either. We are sorry it caused you concern, and we have addressed this with the owners of Pappadeaux's, the restaurant next door that owns that part of the parking lot we share. Hopefully next time you stay with us, there will be a new restaurant for you to visit.
