Really loved the pool, gym and dining facilities however the rooms could do with more attention. There was dust, lights that weren't working and the room amenities needed to be re-filled i.e moisturiser and conditioner. Thankyou to all the staff who worked Christmas Day.

The staff was nice but we faced several issues,we waited an hour because we thought we could get close rooms or rooms with an interconnecting door However,I went one time to the concierge he told me it was not ready and then seeing that we still did not get the email i went again to the reception who told me the room was allocated to someone else already so we waited for nothing since the rooms they finally allocated to us at 4h were far from each other my daughter would have 620 and us 603, nothing in minibars we could eat and pay after, pillows had a cigarette small, the first time we came we had macarons but this time none even though we paid more than 300$ like last time for one of the room.While we were allocated the room we waited again for the suitcases seeing they are not coming we had to call to get them.

The hotel is big, beautiful and clean. Rooms are spacious with plenty out electrical outlets. Bathroom includes separate tub and shower. Front desk was helpful. We took the complementary shuttle RT to Auckland Museum. Breakfast is a little chaotic, but the food is delicious. Try the pancakes with passionfruit sauce. We paid for a late check out on Sunday and the kids went swimming in the outdoor pool. We had lunch served poolside. We will definitely stay at Cordis next time in Auckland.

Clean, comfortable bedding, friendly staff and central within walking distances to Auckland CBD. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. The breakfast was awesome, with lots of options.
