Very basic accommodation. Although fairly clean the sheets felt wet so unable to sleep at night. A water jug would be great to make a cup of coffee after a long journey. Wouldnt book again

This is our second stay here this year. We love the location close to the motorway. The family unit is great because there are beds and a toilet upstairs, and another bed with bathroom downstairs. So the kids feel like they have their own independent area. We did hear a bit of noise from the adjoining room this time, but overall it’s reasonably quiet.

Staff were lovely and super helpful and kind!! Room didn't have spare pillows or extra blankets. While there was a heat pump, it was cold night and this didn't necessary heat the room quickly or overly. Good for a quick overnight stay to crash.

We didn't end up staying as it was that bad, we went elsewhere and now have to try and get our money back, it was advertised as a nice place but it is not. I want my money back, we didn't stay here!

It was a good value . The staff were helpful and the room and kitchenette were big and spacious. Design is outdate d and the furniture needs replacement as some were broken. The dryer was not working.. but accepting coins. Very close to activities like Botanical Garden near by

It's not the Ritz but the price was right for our family of 4 and also worked for us. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. No milk in fridge, only have those cream small packs. We stayed up in the two storey unit had bathroom down stairs and toilet upstairs so that was good. Good Aircon as well but you can hear people in the unit next door walking up and down the stairs and sometimes talking and at times it can sound very loud in the early hours of the morning. Unit was cleaned on the daily and fresh towels bought in so that was nice. Couches and chairs need to get upholstered as were ripped or had holes in them. It is tucked behind shops and their sign under the Valentines Sign seriously needs to be updated/repainted. Literally 3mins from the Auckland Temple and less than a minute drive from Manukau Westfield Mall.

The Rayland is a low/middle grade motel. In decent repair but older and worn. Good for a 1-2 night stay. It's in an end of the road cul-de-sac on the back of a strip of small shops/restaurants. Many small and medium sized restaurants in easy walking distance. The room had a kitchenette with hot plate, microwave and refrigerator. Decent sized room and bathroom. A/C was cold. For the price it was decent. Just the pillows were dreadfully soft thin. Thicker, firmer would be appreciated.

We had some guys in the room next to us who had there music up loud, they were yelling swearing banging on the walls this went on to 1.30am in the morning, in the end i called the office all he said to them was turn the music down please then left . Well the music was turned down but the rest carried on till 2.45am. Holy crap the amount you pay you should expect better then this, definitely not coming back here again.
