Motel close to airport, good Indian restaurant short walk down the street.

Room air freshener gave me a headache. Management gave me a different room and bigger, too for free, but there was long black hair on the towels and floor in the bathroom floor.

An ok hotel experience. The room was clean and tidy, which is all that I could ask for at the price point. Didn't much care for the shower which drained into the bathroom floor and made everything wet for the rest of the night. The hotel seemed to be located in some sort of industrial park about a 5 minute drive to the airport. It was not the sort of neighborhood that I would want to walk around at night all by myself; I heard random firecrackers/poppers going off during the night.

Free pick up and drop off at the Airport. Very convenient and close.

This was probably a 60s era motel. Looks a bit ramshackle from the exterior. It is very, very clean inside. No AC, but lots of fans. Wonderful large jacuzzi in the bath. Comfortable bed with quality sheets. A bit noisey from road traffic. I could also hear the guest above walking and talking. Not convenient to Auckland. Convenient for one night airport stopover with a free shuttle. At $120, it seems a little pricey.

The host is very friendly and helped us carry our bags up to the first floor room. The airport pickup is very helpful. Minimal but adequate rooms. They gave us 2 cups of free milk when we asked if we could buy some. Everything looks dated. the wifi Internet is so-so and keeps disconnecting within a few minutes of non-use and the connection process is cumbersome having to enter a user ID and password each time.

Very roomy two bedroom suite with kitchen. Very close to airport and was just what we needed. Free shuttle is convenient and quick. The only complaint is that the room was very hot, and with the windows open, there was a lot of Saturday night noise.

Owner asked for extra payment even though we paid through prepaid internet reservation. Eventually we did not pay extra, but it was not a good start. The facility is beautiful, although we had a clogged shower, and it was nice to have a full kitchenette, and a cup of milk every day.

I had a great experience here - the staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. They offer free shuttle service and free internet. They also were very helpful in arranging a discount taxi for me to get into town to recover a computer I had left at another hotel downtown. The only thing I didn't like was being charged for an extra person, although when I booked online I specified 3 people and a 1 BR apartment - so that price I thought would already include the extra person. Was a little frustrated by that, but overall it was a clean room, very spacious, with a great staff.

The hotel was in a nice location right downtown, but the staff (though not antagonistic) was brusque, the room was only average at best (you had to stick your key in a slot to operate the lights!), and they charged extra for every little amenity. Most outrageous was the restaurant - on Sunday morning there was nowhere else to get breakfast, and they charged $20 each for the continental breakfast (essentially toast and cereal).
