DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Atlanta - Galleria

Check in was very easy, quick and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly. The room was very nice. The hotel is within walking distance to SunTrust Park and the Battery, pretty much next door to it. They have a shuttle area that I think is a about a 3 mile radius. Hot chocolate chip cookies were delicious. Definitely will stay there again.

Clean room great rate for Doubletree: in the middle of renovation.

I always stay here to get away and relax jaccuzzi tub is so nice

Yes it was a great hotel except for the Internet, they charge money for laptops. The rest was great. And the sofa-bed was uncomfortable and dirty :(

The hotel is built around an open courtyard. I stayed there on a Friday night when half of the courtyard was used for a wedding reception that lasted quite late. The noise wafts up to all rooms, especially those with balconies overlooking the space. I'm surmising events in this space would probably end earlier on Sun - Thurs nights, but If you must stay here on weekends try to get a room not overlooking the courtyard where the noise will be less, but still noticeable. The room itself was sub-par, in need of a good cleaning, if not total refurbishment. Taking a shower in the jacuzzi was somewhat dangerous given slippery surface and no grab bars. Most concerning was a lamp in the bedroom with a socket that had been pulled from the fixture. Rather than fixing the lamp staff had simply unplugged it. Definitely not safe and not acceptable. A major pet peeve for me with this facility (and many hotels catering to business travelers): a desk with no outlet to plug in a laptop or charger for iPad. Also, WiFi may be subject to charges. Check before you reserve if this is important. Not likely I'll stay here again.

the stay was very peaceful and relaxing a great team of employees, me and my wife jus needed a getaway and glade we choose the doubletree

This hotel is rated at a 3 but should be at 4 +. Top quality and excellent facility. Very clean and extremely spacious like an apartment. Excellent and friendly staff members who went beyond the call of.duty to make.sure we were comfortable away from home. You will enjoy the bed...super cozy and comfortable. enjoy.your stay at Double Tree in Atlanta.

It was a great room and was perfect for size for our group. It would have been nice to have a microwave. The staff was friendly. The rooms was clean and had a great layout.

Great getaway for family and companions the only thing is the price for breakfast wish it was lower.

The hotel was absolutely perfect. The price was excellent, The staff was friendly, the location was good, room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were not far from the downtown area of Atlanta, but the immediate surroundings provide excellent choices as well such as: the Cumberland mall and Doc's food and spirits. And the cherry on top was the warm cookie we received at the time of check in. Will recommend and will stay here again!

With its open courtyard, anyone down in the lobby area was clearly heard in my room on the sixth floor. There was a family reunion when I was there and the hotel allowed them to remain in the lobby till 1:00am and my kids, wife and I couldn't sleep. The hours listed for the restaurant were wrong in the book in the room, so we missed breakfast because it ended 30 min earlier than the book said and the same for dinner, and all the front desk said was, sorry.

- Staff was quick to check us in and out. No problems whatsoever regarding this matter. - Hot cookies upon arrival were provided to all of us; nice detail. - If you choose a room without a balcony you won't pick up any of the noise from the bar and reception downstairs. We all had peaceful nights. - What the hotel lacks in amenities is made up by the staff and location. - Good location; lots of places to do shopping and for relaxing at a walking distance. Not too far from downtown, Georgia Aquarium, and Coca-Cola World among other places. However, to go downtown, you still need your car for a short drive.

We stay mostly at Embassy Suites. With 2 kids it is nice to have your own bedroom. When I checked the price of the Atlanta Embassy Suites it was almost $200 with tax. I searched Orbiz and found this hotel for a lot less. It had 2 rooms just like the Embassy suites but no free breakfast. With the restaurants so close that was not a problem.

Not sure why this hotel carries a Hilton Flag. The rooms say sweet dreams bedding.. Maybe the sheets, they were nice and white! My husband slipped and fell in the bathtub and my first reaction was to laugh.. Then i did the same thing! Its an old hotel, clean.. As far as i could tell with the dim lighting. The fridge froze my food, the door was gone on the freezer part that seperated it from the fridge. This hotel is more like a comfort inn, best western type. Guess you get what you pay for, my price was 119 plus tax a nite plus tax for a king suite. No continental Bfast, atleast thats what we were told. ( i dont eat those generally anyways). You may ask why i didn't let management know of any issues? Because if management doesn't already know the Hotel is in some serious need of updating furniture ( sofa had cigarette burns, non smoking room ) and facilities already.. then management must not exist.

The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean, well kept and conveniently located to all of metro Atlanta. The temperature controls worked perfectly in the room and the bedding was clean and comfortable. I will stay here again….

The hotel was extremely nice. I enjoyed the fact that they gave out chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. The staff there is extremely nice and the set up of the hotel is beautiful. Also, the rooms are set up nicely and I love the bedroom and the bathroom in the suites. The only complaint that I have is the pull out bed is extremely flat and uncomfortable. You can feel the springs when you are on it.

This hotel was very nice and roomy and clean. The only things that was it lacking were free wifi and free breakfast. They do offer a breakfast buffet but it costs $13.99. The hotel was very easy to get to and there are several restaurants in the area. It has a small outdoor pool but no hot tub.

Loved the fresh baked cookies when u come through the door I will be back

Hotel I looks outdated on the outside but gorgeous indoors. Very clean and room service it absolutely delicious! Indoor balconies so unique.

Nice place to stay. Easy access to I-75. Would recommend this to family and friends.
