Exceptional Stay

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and all spoke English well. They allowed us an early check-in and also to leave bags until the room was ready. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the air conditioning worked wonderfully, the breakfast was great, and the location is outstanding. We could walk wherever we wanted to go. Just a great little hotel that we used before and after a cruise..

The hotel staff was simply outstanding. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, the breakfast was good. We even got a bottle of wine for our stay. This was an amazing location and a wonderful hotel.

We met 3 different staff members at the desk. All were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The A/C was excellent and kept us cool and comfortable in the Athens summer heat. Breakfast was at a lovely café a few steps around the corner where we were warmly greeted and giver superb coffee and delicious food.

The facility is clean and basic, but the shower is outdated and lacks a rack for shampoo, or loofahs. The worst part of the room is the lighting situation: you can’t dim the lights or have only one or two on. It’s either all lights on or all out. The location is good, close to tourist attractions. However, it can be a bit noisy at night. The city itself is quite dirty, so the surrounding areas are also quite dirty, but it felt safe.

This is a little gem in a nice neighborhood in Athens. It’s a convenient walk to shops and restaurants in Monastiraki. Our room was large enough to accommodate 4 and was clean with a beautiful modern large bathroom. The rainfall showerhead was awesome!! They provide water and a bottle of wine in a refrigerator. Tiny elevator with room for 2 but we managed! The best thing is the superstar employees! Maria greeted us with a warm smile and helped us get all of our luggage up to the room (remember, tiny elevator!!) 😛 We walked a few minutes to breakfast at a little pizzeria that had the most delicious selections of croissants, eggs, and fabulous coffee. Then there is Nikos- a fine gentleman who accommodated our need for ice by running over to the pizzeria to bring us 4 cups of ice …twice!! Then he asked us if we will be able to get breakfast when we checked out. We could not, it was too early. So once again, he goes to the pizzeria and brings us back pizza for our morning breakfast. Who among us has never eaten pizza for breakfast? Well, it was the thought that counts!! Then to top it all off, when I got home, he let me know they had found a ring in the room that he was willing to return to us. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and will stay again if I’m ever in Athens!!! Thank you, Maria and Nikos!!

Good property in the middle of Athens. Easy walking to the flea market and Plaka. A ton of dining around the neighborhood. Code to get into building is provided when you check in. All bathroom amenities are provided along with wine, water, a great coffee maker and hotpot. Comfy beds and friendly front desk staff. Very clean!

The area was great for getting something to eat, picking up a few groceries, shopping, and even the subway. Front entranceway very tiny especially when all the luggage is there but staff are friendly/helpful. The rooms are clean. We enjoyed our stay there. We appreciated the sheet provided that had helpful ideas on restaurants in the area.

The hotel itself was good in terms of comfort. The location was really great in terms of proximity to the acropolis but the overall neighbourhood felt unsafe with excessive graffiti ( not sure is this is normal for Athens). The breakfast was not good so won’t recommend (I ended up eating at other places instead of having breakfast offered by the hotel as it was located separately from the hotel with basic options even though it was paid for). Close to public transport and food options. I think if you are looking for location this hotel works.
