Staff was friendly. The concierge was exceptionally helpful. However, I did request extra toiletries which I did not receive.

Dislikes: 1. The food fell short. Easter dinner at $45 a person and the meat dishes were extremely tough. 2. Breakfast buffet has a wide variety however, there is a quality issue with some of the dishes as well. The spinach pie was soggy on the bottom the fruit didn't look fresh at times. 3. The spa needs a serious update although the staff was talented they lacked resources. Their attitude surely made up for what the facility itself lacked. The massage beds were uncomfortable. They need to print more menus for guests. Also, the spa is very dark. Their outdoor space can be better utilized and the after treatment tea lacked flavor. Also, I would have liked to see more retail products on display and a larger variety with tester. 4. Didn't get much of a discount on the not so great Easter dinner. The staff was not willing to recognize the fact that the hotel food lacks quality and especially on a holiday dinner where expectations are higher on quality. Also, was off putting that the tall receptionist at front desk lost her indoor voice when we asked for a further adjustment on the Easter dinner. We were finally discounted 1 of the 3 $45 EUR meals we had paid for. 4. Room could have used newer curtains and bath robes. Likes: 1. Our room had a gorgeous view of the Acropolis and Mt. Lycabettus which one can enjoy hiking or a visit to St. George and St. Isidoro churches. 2. Overall the staff was well trained and customer service oriented.

The breakfast view is amazing. The dinner is delicious (upscale) Greek cuisine. The bar food is also great, particularly the meatballs.

Hotel in a desirable and lovely location, lavish breakfast spreads.

Great hotel wonderful location - would have given 5 star for staff all were wonderful with the exception of the older gentleman bell hop who was clearly aggravated to help anyone to store the luggage

The location was perfect, near many attraction of Athens.reakfast offered a variety of food with a professional service.

The rooms need some upgrading but the staff was outstanding. Very helpful. The location is good as it is 1 block from the lycabettus mnt cable car that provides great views of the city.

Had a good time and enjoyed the view at breakfast on 6th floor

Great staff, very accommodating. Great view of the Acropolis and a short walk (literally 150 feet) to great shopping and cafes in kolonaki. Our stay was was complete with an accommodating and informative staff. Strongly recommend!!!

The hotel was acceptable, not as nice as in the photos but not bad either. The open air restaurant was great and made the stay there worthwhile. The hotel is up an incline too so if you don't have a car it might be a bit tiring to navigate. It's not that close to public transportation, but at least it's in a good neighborhood.

The staff was excellent, however this is far from a 5 star hotel. Rooms were dated. I am not one that usually complains about the comfort of the beds, but these were terrible. They were so hard that neither me or my husband slept at all. Internet is 6 Euro per hour or 18 for the whole day. More than I have ever been charged, and I travel around Europ a lot. The only free place for wi-fi was in the restaurant, which was kind of awkward. They did book a tour for us that was great. The location of the hotel is at the top of a pretty steep hill so if you are not into walking, this isn't the place for you. It was quite a hike to the Plaka. There was a taxi strike while we were there so we weren't able to utilize them.

First of all there was only free wifi at the pool, which was open 9am-9pm, and you had to pay in the room. The room was very nice and the bed was the most comfortable of all the other hotels I stayed in while in Greece. The pool on the rooftop was nice, but very small.

Very friendly staff. Smoking room was available- the best of all

This is a nice, upscale hotel located next to Lycabettus mountain, with spectacular views of the city. It is in an upscale "sleeping" quarters of the city, but only about 10 minute walk from the major square (Syntagma). It also has an excellent swimming pool on the rooftop. Views from the rooms are amazing. The service is also excellent. If you are looking for a quieter place to stay away from the buzz of Plaka (the main tourist neighborhood), then this is a great choice. However, if you want to be in the middle of touristy action, then you may want to stay in Plaka. Also, keep in mind that the internet charges and breakfast charges add up.

Pleasant neighborhood. Good location for museums, metro, restaurants. Nice view of the Parthenon. Staff was personable.

Excellent location in Kolonaki overlooking Acropolis. Front desk service was superb. 2 minute walk to Mount Lycabettus tram which takes you to the top of a hill with beautiful views of the whole city. Excellent restaurant at the top, but very expensive. It was nice to have taxis available at any time at the hotel. 5 star hotel in Europe is not that great. Room was too warm - A/C not on in April! Loud noise at 6:30AM in the courtyard right next to our room. Very loud...I think it may have been laundry day or something as they were rolling out carts. Liked that they gave you the taxi cab guidelines sheet.

Our hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had a perfect view of the Acropolis and all of Athens. The rooftop pool was excellent. Again, great view of the Acropolis and Athens, very clean and nice size pool Execellent location to lovely shops and restaurants and walking distance to all of Athens main attractions.

Location excelent. Everytime you ask something they charge you! The steam bath got closed for two days (no reasons). The only day we got there we had to leave in 15 m. The location is excelent. The hotel is very confortable, but the staff always in a bad mood!

The only negative we experienced was the fact that our room was not ready when we checked into the hotel. We had to wait over 2 hours.
