The Omni Grove Park Inn

The room was not $186 as your web site said. The Inn tacked on $15 for parking, $25 hospitality and the room was small, only one chair. The bathroom had small area between the sink and tub because of the ancient plumbing. Could not dry my hair because there was no "room in the inn." No views, only of the roof of the new extension. Will NEVER stay there again nor recommend it.

It was nice in the main areas but our room seemed old and outdated. The pool was small and the sports complex in general wasn’t as nice as I’d hoped. our room was smaller than expected, the carpeting in the hallways, stairs, and rooms could be updated as well as the bathroom tiles. It felt like I was staying in a small motel until we got out to the main nice area. The staff was nice though. And the main lobby area and outside area were nice. Also, it would have been nice if they put a couple of water bottles in our room daily.

Everyone is so nice and made us feel special Enjoyed the gingerbread displays Lots of things to do

Beautiful place to visit. Staff is wonderful. Only thing that could make it better would have been to not run out of gingerbread guides.

Great resort with really nice views. Hotel has old and new area. Avoid staying on the top floor of the old side if you are chrostophobic since rooms barely has any windows.

Went for honeymoon over July 4th week. We have stayed there before and love it, great hotel with amazing restaurants on site. The spa is incredible!

My husband and I stayed at the GPI for our babymoon. The view of the mountains is absolutely stunning and the spa was excellent. It was very relaxing. The rooms are pretty outdated and the service at the restaurants were pretty slow but overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

We loved our stay, but next time will book directly through the hotel. We had to change the number of nights, and it was difficult going through Orbitz. We got a guy from India who did not sprak English clearly, and it was hard to communicate!

Family vacation. Drove to Bristol TN (only about an hour from Asheville). Breathtaking views thru the mountains.

Service at the buffet on our second morning was horrible . Our waitress never brought us coffee. I had to get up , find her and ask for it. (She never came back to the table after she asked for our drink order. Then after the first time she never came back to refill our coffee. See how the food was or being our bill . I had to find her again to request the check. She was always “hanging “ out in the waiter station .

Grove Park Inn is a gorgeous historic property with a lot of unique features. Aside from a couple of minor issues with front hall bar service and Edison bar service the staff was fantastic. I was, however, deeply disappointed to find that the underground pool is only available to those with a spa appointment. Seeing pictures of that pool are what sealed the deal for me to book a room. It was not made clear that access to that pool is not open to hotel guests. I thought I'd read carefully and found that guests have access to the pools, but apparently not the really amazing one! There are lots of additional expenses associated with staying at the inn besides the room itself and even if I'd known a spa appointment was required I do not think I could afford the additional costs involved. This was my honeymoon and we spent a lot of money for a very special occasion. I would have booked a different nearby hotel and saved some money if I'd known we couldn't use one of the most amazing parts of the property.

From time we were greeted by valet to the time we left receiving our keys from the valet, we were treated as true guest of the hotel. Everyone was genuinely happy to have us on their property. Our last minute overnight trip turned out to be a culinary experience, both in Asheville and on the property. And no better way to end the day than sitting on the Sunset Terrace looking out over the mountains. And then, you get to start your day with the same view, while enjoying coffee in the Blue Ridge Room. Beautiful property and great staff! There’s something about the Grove Park that

Loved the old wing of the Grove Park Inn The were able to accommodate rooms connecting for my 85 year old mom and sisters ! Thank you ! Breakfast Buffett was wonderful !

check in, dinner and sitting by the fire listening to music in the hotel lobby was the best.

My wife and I celebrated our 18th anniversary at the GPI. It was absolutely the best time we have ever had. The hotel was beautiful, as it was decorated for Christmas. The staff was remarkable and the dining was some of the best food we have ever had. I would suggest the GPI to anyone looking for a great time spent with their loved ones. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Orbitz for offering great properties like this!

Beautifully hotel with a terrific view. Top notch service and plenty to do. Asheville area full of artsy stuff and lots to see and enjoy. Don't miss this area in your travels.

My daughter and I stayed at the Spa until late, and was told that we could get a sandwich or lite snack at the Edison. We were treated abruptly. At eight o'clock maybe this was the way we were suppose to be treated, BUT. The head waiter was more concerned with a conversation with two very loud and drinking couple at the bar. Just not the way we expected to be treated after just wonderful treatment in the Spa.
