We loved it here! We parked the car and didn’t use it again for the duration of our time in Arcata. We walked to the Cal Poly campus, local restaurants, to the grocery store, and shopping. We took the bikes out to see the Arcata marsh at sunset - so lovely! Even the rain didn’t stop us, Perfect location and amenities.

The house was cozy and walking distance to restaurants. The rigidity of check in and check out times was inconvenient. The phone contact person was obviously not in the area. He sounded like he was very far away with sounds of the beach in the background.

Great location and great little spot

The location is great for doing things in Arcata, close enough to walk to most places and bikes for further spots. The place was comfy and clean and dishes were well stocked. The EV charger was fantastic for us, too. Would definitely stay here again.

Sweet spot

This is a sweet, small one bedroom apartment in a great location--close walk to the plaza while feeling quiet and removed. The hot tub was wonderful to come home to at night! Chris was responsive and easy to work with and clearly wants his guests to have a comfortable, relaxed stay.

Everything you need, nothing you don’t

Perfect place for a family of 3 or 4. The hit tub was great, and the place has everything you need. The location is prime, a couple of blocks from several restaurants. Will definitely be back.

We keep coming back!

We try to book this specific property every time we visit Arcata (we come on a yearly basis). It is clean, spacious, conveniently-located, well-stocked, cozy and - most importantly - pet-friendly. We have stayed at this property, including the upstairs loft since 2017. Minus 2020 due to Covid because we didn't travel, then 2021 because it was already booked. The host is great and makes check-in a breeze. We love this place!

Lovely quiet place close to everything

The property was lovely and quiet and centrally located. We could walk to everything! It was great to be able to bring our dog children and to have a fenced outdoor space for them to run and play. The hot tub was a perfect 104 degrees and it was nice to sit at the outdoor table!

Great Location to Explore Arcata

The rental is centrally located and within walking distance of most downtown Arcata businesses. My favorite part? The lovely garden out front and long list of amenities that are waiting for visitors inside.
