The staff is ok, but not really nice. Room was good. Brekfast cost 20€ per person additionally and was really poor. Not worth at all. Coffee machine didn't work, no dark bread or salmon. So 20€ for boiled eggs is a lot. We said that breakfast wasn't rich at all, like they said it's gonna be, so them Excuse for poor breakfast, was "it's no shops around, so you don't have any choice" very rude!!! I will NEVER AGAIN go to the any of Novotel hotels!
Efficient wellcome. Eventhough you re in the port You hv an Accor service. Perfect. Especially for work. A bit far from city center but not a pb. Nice restaurants around also if you search as food is quite simple in restaurant
The Best in the accor chain I had visited . Extremely helpfull and friendly front desk so far. Please try the healty water.... Best rooms yet . It was like your living room. Free treatsfor your enjoyement . Best bathroom and high quality towels you have never seen before . Free car parking .Thanks for the management
We stayed only for a night, it is far from the city in an industrial estate, not the best neighbourhood but it has free parking. For the price paid it was alright, no free water in the room (they charge very high for a small bottle). Wifi was fast and free. All in all, it was ok for a night, clean and tidy room.
The hotel is nice, I was away with work and was visiting an office on the same industrial estate so the location was convenient for my needs, however not for Antwerp or Brussels itself. The wifi is good and TV choice as expected, the lobby area and restaurant are very nice and what you'd expect from a Novotel, overall a perfectly good experience.
Online check in worked very well. We stayed at this property during new years for 2 nights. We had a very comfortable stay. The rooms were adequate and the beds were very comfortable. Although the bathroom was of very high specification, I was not a big fan of the separate toilet and bathroom. The rooms was ever so slightly a bit worse for the wear. A fresh coat of paint should follow the trick. Special mention to the chirpy staff behind the counter during our check out. Very enthusiastic and made the check-out process seamless. On the whole would definitely recommend this property. Bear in mind, you'd need a car though as the location is a bit away from anything else, which meant that it was a very quiet location.
The Hotel was very clean and tidy, bed was comfortable. we were on a minibreak with P&O and I don't think the hotel had thought the catering through properly. The food ran out quite quickly for the amount of people that had booked the minibreak. The food was good though, and they did bring out more food. Don't buy drinks at the bar! very expensive.
This ia a hotel suited for large groups as well as for family or business. The location of the hotel is in an industrial area but once in the hotel one does not see that anymore. The city center is far away and needs either a taxi or own transportation, which has a downside of course. The hotel itself is nice, rooms are nice, staff is nice.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a hand-written welcome note by the general manager of the hotel in my room. This hasn't happened to me in a long time and made my day. The rooms is spacious and has more comforts than a typical 3-star property. I enjoyed a great sleep! Food in the bar was delicious, as I had been craving for some local food and that was exactly what they were promoting that day. One little remark is that the girl in the bar reacted annoyed at me, because she had closed the bill before I was given the opportunity to redeem a drink voucher. This redemption was also not recorded properly, but fortunately at checkout the front desk agent resolved the bill swiftly. Also, 3,50 euro for a bottle of water from the minibar is too expensive in my opinion. Especially because the tap water in Belgium is already of very high quality. I'd be more than happy to consume other beverages from it instead, but there was only bottles of water in the minibar.
Never stayed at a Novotel before but can't praise it enough! Food well cooked and hot, rooms! slippers, dressing gowns and a pristine clean room. Did not realise that this chain had such nice hotels. Let down by having to spend the next 3 days in Mercure Dresden. Hotel from Hell but read my review on that. So Novotel well done no complaints whatsoever.
