Great location, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet option, nice room, but the room's carpet should be replaced.

My family and I had a very good experience at the Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel. I actually had spent two nights at another well known hotel, but left due to noise. No problem with street noise at the Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel - even though its located across the street from the main train station. I was blown away by the breakfast at the Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel. I highly recommend it. The Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel has a sauna, and a swimming pool. A definite plus for me, my wife and children (ages 10 and 12). Waited two hours for staff to bring up roll-away bed as it was bed time for my kids, but a stern call from me saw the portable bed in my room in 10 minutes. The welcoming breakfast the next morning overshadowed this small oversight. Whether on business or traveling with children, I will definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel.. Great location next to the train station and in center of Antwerp.

The location of this hotel really can't be beat. It's right across the public square from the train station, and right near a popular restaurant location. There are about 2 dozen restaurants within a 2 block radius of every international flavor you could imagine. It's only a 5 minute walk to the Diamond District as well. The staff is always very friendly as well. I've stayed there 7 times now, and always look to stay there when I'm in Antwerp.

Room was spacious. Staff were friendly and everything looked very well maintained. It was a great location for which to explore antwerp. The gym was well equipped and the pool looked size able though we didn't use it. I guess the only thing we didn't quite like was the breakfast buffet. Set up seemed slightly below what we expected for a hotel of that standard, plates seemed smallish...perhaps it was deliberate to keep us eating healthy. My husband actually commented that the approach at the buffet seemed 'miserly'

The rooms were exceptionally large for Europe. The staff was courteous and helpful. And it was just across the square from the train station. Honestly my only issue was that the coffee at breakfast was a little burnt (The rest of the breakfast was excellent). But considering there was a really nice coffee maker in the room, it didn't matter.

Our time in Antwerp was spent experiencing most all of the cultural offerings, people, and unique city adventures. We enjoy using public transport since one can gain such a better knowledge of the local residents. With the Astrid metro station directly below the hotel and with the incredibly beautiful Centraal railroad station next door, reaching out to the experiences of the complete area was simple and uncomplicated. The hotel itself is gorgeous, from the lobby on. The staff was most helpful, although not always the most friendly. We asked for a room in a quiet area and got exactly that. If you need an iron and board you must request that. The fitness room was far more than adequate, offering many devices which are pneumatically operated. Our perception is that the location, in general, is just a bit seedy and does not always give the impression of safety at night, but the comfort and location of the hotel makes up for for more than that. We would stay there again in the snap of fingers. We hated to leave after a six night stay.

I stayed there for the second time. It is very nicely located close to the Central Station at a walking distance.

The staff was very helpful from checking us in, to calling us a cab on a Saturday night, to suggesting a pub to watch Premier League action. We really loved Antwerp and the hotel was in a spectacular location to enjoy the city.

Hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Location being so close to the railroad station was very convenient however some of the people that hang around the station are a little sketchy. We didn't have any problems and it was convenient for our other travels. The staff was very personable and helpful.

The Radisson SAS Astrid was directly across from the Central Station, very close to the zoo and a short walk to shopping and the Grand Place,so the location was great. The room was very nicely appointed. The hotel staff was what made the difference at this hotel. They were very friendly, professional and took the time to tell you about their hotel and great places to see in the city. This hotel does charge for parking, but it is secure parking and costs less than public garages. It was nice to stay in a hotel in Belgium that didn't charge for internet!
