If you are staying in Antwerp, I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is ideal. It is close to lots of sightseeing and walking distance to the port if you are cruising. The staff was outstanding starting at check in. The room was large and spotless. The lobby was comfortable and well furnished. As a frequent traveler, this is one of the best in quality and hospitality/ dollar spent
The Hilton Hotel is a beautiful building, suitably located, it has a good staff, excellent service; it is perfect for a short trip or a vacation in the city of Antwerp, for two people, for a family or for a small group of friends.
This hotel has an ideal location and provided excellent accommodations for our family in Antwerp. The rooms were spacious, lovely and the staff were extremely helpful. Wonderful breakfast buffet too!! You can't ask for a better value for the location, accommodations or service. Bravo!! Would definitely highly recommend this hotel, and would stay here again!!
This Hotel needs to do better. Having broken my travel adaptor, and needing to complete my work, I asked at reception if they had one I may borrow. They did and gave me one. I returned to my room and charged my computer. So far so good, at least on par with most hotels anywhere. The following morning when I checked out, I noticed a charge of 25 euros for the loan of the adaptor. Following protest this item was removed from the bill. Whilst I understand that the hotel needs to have some sort of retention incentive to ensure that people return such items, and I would have been happy to leave a refundable deposit, the attempt to gouge me for 25 euros (whether the unit was returned or not) without prior notice is just unacceptable for an expensive hotel. This is not good for a hotel chain which tries to compete on customer satisfaction. The chance to impress by going the extra mile (which their competitors are happy to do by the way) was lost by simple greed and exploiting a customer need by attempting to rip them off.
I have stayed in the Antwerp Hilton multiple times and almost always I wish it were better. It isn't terrible. The rooms are bland and fine. The location is very good, and the lobby and bar are a good place to meet someone and drink, but it is just a completely ordinary hotel and Antwerp deserves a five star big luxury property and this just always falls way below that. The breakfast is completely mediocre--and why. You can get incredible baked goods and food in Antwerp so why should it be so mediocre. The rooms are just plan and lacking in style. The executive lounge is also completely ordinary--no English papers, mediocre food. There is no one to help with luggage coming into hotel or going up to the rooms---I imagine if you called specially they would send someone but no one visible. The front desk is nice. I had help with a car and storage and check in was solid, but in past also had a package go missing i.e. not make it to me when I sent it back. Hard to say if that was the post or the hotel. But in general think the front desk is the best of the hotel. I alternate between this hotel and small boutique hotels and come back because of work, location, or the gym and always go why can't the hotel be better. It should be.
We have stayed in this hotel for two nights. It's very pretty but a bit old style. The location is great. Everything you nees is nearby. The rooms a quit big, the bed a very comfy. I did not have food there so i can't say anything about that. We sure would be back at this hotel.
The hotel is as central as can be - a short walk (or metro journey) from the train station. The hotel has excellent customer service though which sets it apart from its competitors. From the moment of checking to departure, all was smooth and good. The executive lounge was very nice, as was the terrace. Breakfast was very good too. Rooms were spacious and good wifi signal. A delight!
Superb service in a beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. Highly recommended given the high-caliber service, convenient location, and comfortable rooms. Although the furnishings in the rooms could use a bit of a retouch, the service was exceptional. The receptionists and manager of the hotel were quite hospitable and welcoming.
Stayed here two nights using points. Normally we'd stay in less expensive local hotels but using points made it worthwhile. Glad we did. You can't beat the location, it's central to the main sights in Antwerp. The bonus was having an American sized room for two nights to rearrange our suitcases before continuing our trip. The front desk staff we're outstanding; they were helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with us. They could talk intelligently about The city itself as well as other parts of Belgium, and Amsterdam, our next stop.
Lovely stay in the heart of Antwerp! Perfect location and kind and professional staff. Big room with space for suitcases and nice view over the city from the room. Amazing breakfast with some dishes made to order. Had dinner at the hotel one night which also was nice! When I go back to Antwerp I Will definitley stay here again!
