The hotel is located right in the old town, close to the port. Excellent! The service was 100%. The hotel staff were very understanding and warm-hearted. The room was cleaned every day! The hotel is in a quieter part of the town but close to all the amenities which worked well for us. The room was very clean and well appointed with a fridge and heating/aircon unit. The staff were helpful and attentive. Our breakfast was free so I can't complain, but the very varied choice was aimed more at other Europeans with an array of cheese, olives and cooked meats and salad.

The staff were amazing, it was beautiful little hotel. Perfect little hideaway in a great location in the old town. The customer service was incredible it honestly made our stay.

Great clean room. It is older-so expect that, but it has been well maintained (and lots of amazing history). Breakfast was great, good variety. Pool and outdoor areas are clean and highly recommend. Mini split a/c worked and water pressure was great. I loved the location-close to many restaurants and shops. Not toooo loud at night with nearby music. They don’t give free water everyday-only the 1st day- expect a charge. I paid for breakfast the last day and asked for them to make a breakfast box b/c I was leaving at 5:15am and they didn’t, didn’t give a refund and still charged me for water. Other than that, a pleasant, no frills stay. About 10minute walk from tram station and hills aren’t too bad (doable with small roller luggage but wouldn’t suggest big roller luggage).

We have stayed at the Aspen several times, usually in the same very comfortable room. This time we were in a different room and both the beds and pillows were uncomfortable and we did not get a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was very good again and the staff are very good and helpful.
