I stayed here for nearly a month. It was excellent value for the money. Almost all the staff are really nice: smiles, friendly, helpful. The breakfast isn't the best I've had in Turkey, but it was still good. The rooms are pretty spacious for what you pay. I appreciated that there were little desks in the rooms. The only real negative is that there's a restaurant next door with loud music that often goes past 23:00. Earplugs are about the only way to deal with it.

Great value for your money. Nearest beach 100 m, 200 m to harbour and 500 metres to the city. Locates in the old town where you can find nice restaurants and pubs. Friendly staff. Pool and the pool area is a nice plus. For a *** hotel this is a good place.

We've enjoyed our 5 nights stay a lot, the hotel is amazing and very clean, the staff are so kind & nice, the location is perfect, very good breakfast, simply we can tell that this hotel is the best choice in Antalya Special thanks for Mr. Yilmaz for his help and kindness.

We booked only 1 night in case we did not like this hotel... In fact, was a great idea, this place was way below average. Beware, this hotel was built minimum in 1980 or so... Do not spect a modern room or installations, the elevator is so old that makes you feel in a horror movie. The room has a horrible cigar smell, so strong that we could barely sleep (after using some incense sticks), the furniture is very old, the toilet, etc... the size is not the one advertised. In a resume, does not look very clean. Wifi very slow. In general, not a good experience, we did not even try the breakfast as we were afraid of their hygiene. In the old town, you can find much better hotels, for the same price.

We only stayed here one night and I'm really glad because I don't think I could've handled another one. First of all, the hotel is impossible to get to. It's inside the castle walls, so if you've never been to Antalya and you drove there, you might be lost for a while. This is what happened to us. We circled the perimeter of the walls several times before we could find the entrance (all the streets in this area are one way so if you miss your turn once, it takes another 25 minutes to make your way back). This was after we called the hotel twice for directions. The first person to answer was very surprised that we were unable to find the hotel. She also didn't mentioned anything about the single entry point and the paperwork we had to show to be allowed access inside the walls. The second person had more common sense and told us about the gate and what to tell the security guard. You would think there would be special directions on the hotel website considering how this is a unique location...but you'd be wrong. The best thing about this hotel was that it's inside the castle walls, in the middle of this historic city. Because this area is so old, the streets are incredibly small. Thankfully we had a small car and made it up the hill to the hotel. The front desk agent was nice enough to have someone take our car to their special lot, which is also very difficult to get to, hiding behind the hotel. Our room was in the back building, through a very beautiful courtyard. There was a weird abandoned looking glass room at the entrance of our building that was a bit creepy, but I still had very high hopes for this place. Until the front desk agent opened the door to our room, that is, and we immediately got hit with the strongest cigarette smell I've ever smelled in my life. And I'm not even sensitive to cigarette smoke. I was about to demand another room when I saw the no smoking signs all over the room. I figured a different room probably wasn't going to make a difference. I hoped that it would go away if we opened up the balcony door for a while. And as soon as I stepped out on the balcony, I saw our next door neighbor smoking. So at that point I accepted that we just needed to get through the night. The room and the bathroom looked fairly clean. The amenities were not the best. Our slippers were so paper-thin that it was basically like walking barefoot on the floor. The bed was rock-hard, with a couple of small stains on the sheets. The pillows had such a strong cigarette smell that I actually had trouble falling asleep. Also, the bar next door had live music until late hours and we could hear it clearly from our room. Breakfast next morning was just as bad as the rest of the experience. Food selection was terrible with greasy eggs and mystery meats. Tea was the only decent drink option as everything else came out of a machine that made very watery beverages. The best part of our stay was the location. We had a very beautiful and historic view from our balcony. Plus, being inside the castle, we were able to walk to everything inside the walls and the shops outside. Overall, I'd recommend trying another hotel. And if you end up staying inside the castle walls for the first time, make sure you ask ahead of time about the entry points and traffic. It'll save you a lot of headache!

We loved this hotel, its an elegant place furnitured with antiques and many turkish assecoires. The rooms are renovated and comfortable. You are in the middle of Antalya in the old town but its very quiet, you feel like in an oasis of welcome and peacefull rest. Breakfast is good to, everything you need, fresh eggs, different sorts, great yoghurt, honey, cappucino, coffee, tee, juices, fruit, müslis etc. and of course also some local cheeses etc. The friendlyness from everybody in this hotel is great, they do everything to make you feel at home. Great beds with good matrasses Nice also that there is a safe for free.

This hotel is much larger by room quantity than we expected. We were given a beautiful room on the top floor with stunning views over the hotel courtyard and across to the old harbour. You catch a glimpse of it. The pool was lovely but a little small. Perfect for out of season. The breakfast selection was very good. Very friendly staff. Overall a great stay but we preferred the busier end of town as a location. We did come out of season though.

We visited in October as a young couple with our infant baby and had a lovely experience. The hotel is located in a very good location, is clean, has a good restaurant and services - everything you need for a relaxing break around the old city. However what truely stands out is the excellent staff and overall service including the general managers (especially Yilmaz was brilliant with our little one). If youre thinking about staying within Kaleici you cant go wrong with this hotel!

We spent 10 nights in the hotel last month and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is splendidly located a short walk from the marina and walking away from the sea to the heart of the Old Town. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and that includes everyone from the Chef to the Maintenance Man.....all were brilliant. I contacted the hotel ahead of our visit as it was to celebrate my wife's birthday and requested flowers and fresh fruit in our room .....and there they were on our arrival much to her delight. We were in an excellent room (207) and have absolutely first class service from the charming lady responsible for the room. Clean bed linen and towels every day without asking, and always a delight to return to our room each day to discover what or who was waiting on the bed modelled from the new towels.....a man one day, a romatic flower strewn heart another and a crocodile (!) another. Everything about the hotel was perfect.....we enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Kaleici and we will certainly be returning, both to the lovely town and to this fantastic hotel. From us both to the General Manager and all his staff....a massive thank you. We will be back.

According to my experience in this hotel I would recommend anyone looking for a hotel in the heart of Antalya to choose this hotel, for many reasons: - It is characterized by cleanliness, order, calm, security and honesty. - The good hospitality and excellent service of the staff. - Provide the best meals. - Located in the heart of ancient Antalya, that is close to everything that interests tourists to visit it (markets, archaeological, sea, restaurants ...) - they care about children in terms of providing their own bed to sleep, and their own meals. Thank you Aspen Hotel for making us satisfied with this trip.
