Awful stay

Avoid this hotel. We waited 30 minutes after calling for a shuttle at the airport before it arrived. Shuttle was dirty and very beat up. Room was tired and had no tableware in the cupboards. They were completely empty. On return to airport, the shuttle was 30 minutes late and then told us to load our own bags into shuttle and began a shouting match with another guest.

The desk clerk at check-in was not friendly at all. Barely spoke to us. We were given a room that was not cleaned and the clerk was irritated when we came back. The second room we were given was very spacious and clean.

Very poor customer service

We had a reservation for one day, requested it be extended. That was agreed to by the hotel. We went downtown and the hotel called us and very rudely told us to remove our possessions from the room as it was beyond the check out time. We explained it had been extended and was told we had to check out and check back in. We did so and were charged $500 for the new reservation ($200 more than the the posted daily rate online). I am in touch with Wyndam customer care and hopeful they we rectify the situation.

Property was run down and out dated. We had a delayed flight so we didn’t get in until the middle of the night. We had already contacted the hotel about our late arrival previously and it was very difficult to arrange transport when we arrived. The man who came to get us was very grumpy. Overall not a great experience. We couldn’t wait to leave.

The hotel was dirty. My room had mold in the toilet and tub, there was a pubic hair in the tub, and there was Budweiser beer in the fridge. Also, the elevator landed roughly on the ground floor. The elevator maintenence certificate that was posted expired in January of 2025. I took a picture of it and intend to report it.
