Didn’t like that I had to pay extra for aweful internet. The rooms are out dated. The shower was difficult to get the correct temperature.

easy check-in, clean, and quiet. Convenient location in downtown Anchorage.

I traveled in from California with my wife on a business trip. We actually stayed at your establishment for 4 nights / 5 days. The only thing that would have made our stay better was the actual need for a refrigerator in our room to store leftovers. I had to go to the local Fred Meyer and purchase a collapsible cooler and keep it in the tub to prevent leakage. Then to top it off the ice machine on the 11th floor was non operational so i had to either go up to the 12th floor or down to the 10th floor for Ice. My next travel plans to Alaska will be to a different hotel that can accommodate this need. Clearly the ice machine could have been repaired within the 5 days that I stayed with you, so clearly my needs were not important as the hotel felt it was perfectly OK to send their guest to other floors for this need?

I will not be staying at this hotel again. I paid nearly $200 for one night and received terrible service. I tried to call the hotel a few days prior to arrival to request a king bed, no one answered the phone and there was no hold music. It rang nearly 40 times before I hung up and called the 800 number to help me, when i finally got through and asked if there was a problem with their phones the women rudely responded they were just busy. She interrupted me multiple times on the call and acted as though she wanted to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. After checking into the hotel I tried to call down to the front desk to confirm check out time because they did not post it ANYWHERE in the room. Once again no answer, let it ring about the same amount of time before giving up. When i booked the reservation I requested a low floor because i prefer to use the stairs. Upon arriving to the hotel that evening after dinner and drinks we were told we could not use the stairs, no reasoning. When my boyfried advised they cannot close stair access because of fire hazards we were told rudely that we would have to be escorted to our room by a staff member. We were escorted to the 2nd floor and told we could go up the rest on our own and that there is no real reason for closing the stairs, they just prefer people use the elevators. I have stayed in many hotels at a lower price that have treated me 100 better than this hotel. My boyfriend and I were both very disatisfied.

I stay here yearly when my I attend a company Christmas party with a friend. It's located downtown very close to the Denaina Center and is my hotel of choice in Anchorage when I want a comfortable room. Hotel desk staff are great! Super friendly and professional!

the parking was not very convenient but okay. If you plan to drive a lot in your trip, probably try another hotel. The location is great, though.

Great experience! Friendly staff! Clean hotel! Felt welcome and safe- can't say that for other downtown Anchorage hotels. Only three negatives: no fridge in the room, valet parking only and no hot tub!

Our stay at the Marriott in downtown Anchorage was pleasant for the most part. It is in a good location, the room was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The two areas where this hotel fell short and would cause me to look elsewhere if ever back in Anchorage were the walls were too "thin" allowing regular conversations to be heard in adjoining room; and the charge of WiFi of $15/day (we paid almost $300 for the room and it didn't include internet - not acceptable). The hotel provides free WiFi in the lobby, so those who didn't pay anything to stay at the hotel receives free internet, but those who want to use the internet in their room after paying almost $300 for one night has to pay an additional $15/day. This is poor customer service in my opinion.

Hotel was very clean, rooms were good, beds comfy. The staff were amazing, they went out of their way to help you with anything you neded. The valet parking was very expensive $24 a day and not much of other options around. We had great stay!

Hotel was in a perfect location! Walking distance to all of downtown. Staff very friendly. rooms were very clean. Breakfast buffet was very good but a little pricey. Nice bar and lounge area.

Enjoyed our stay! Very clean, great view, and friendly staff. Would stay here again :-)

This hotel was up until this trip a great one to stay in. However upon arival we found a freezing cold lobby under construction. The entire reason for our stay at this particular hotel was the warm pool and the very hot hot tub. After checking in we quickly found that the pool was cold and that the hot tub was under construction. Our 10 month old played with us in the pool for a short time...until her lips turned purple and she started to shiver. We feel like we threw money away staying here. Now on the good note everything about our stay other than the above was excellent. We may try to stay here again in the future but we will be calling a head to confirm if the construction on the lobby and the pool area are done.

The temp of the hot tub and pool and the surrounding area was wonderful!

Hotel was clean, with great staff, We were in conference with 200 other couples at this hotel. Buffet breakfast was good but eggs each day would run out or be cold. Gym was good as well as the pool, the hot tub could use some updating. Room was quiet with a great view and again hotel staff where always ready to assist.

Nice large room with a great view of downtown and the Cook Inlet. We were happy with the room and service. We were able to see the New Years fireworks display from the huge front window in the room. Will do this again.

this hotel the cleanist hotel in anchorage ak period. i would stay there again.

Hotel is in downtown, so we could walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was very nice: gave us room with a view and allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier. It seems that not all rooms are as nice. We stayed the first time in a room with a king size bed (A+), the second time we were given a room with two queen beds (B - a bit worn out, not as nice). Either way, we liked both of our stays and would stay there again.

It was very convenient to the Convention Center. Housekeeping could do a little better job. The staff was helpful and friendly.
