We had a very nice 3-night stay here last week. Our room was clean, roomy and comfortable, and Maria makes excellent breakfasts.
Great second stay.
Great shower, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, friendly hosts.
Wonderful B&B. Terrific Breakfast. Great location adjacent to wonderful city park complete with salmon swimming upstream and moose nibbling on vegetation in backyard while eating breakfast. Hosts were incredibly gracious and accommodating.
Very comfortable stay at Maria’s Creekside B&B. Everything was very clean, cozy and tidy. All I really look for is clean sheets and good water pressure. Top notch on both counts. Maria and Robert were excellent hosts. As an Alaska native, Robert had great recommendations on where to go and what to do. When initially booking, reading some reviews gave me pause. A handful of reviews mention a bad neighborhood and a “seedy” park nearby. Those reviews are overblown. The neighborhood indeed has public housing, but nothing remarkable for a large city. We never felt unsafe. The park was great for an afternoon stroll through the ‘snowing’ Cottonwood trees along the Campbell Creek. Birch and Alder trees also line this salmon run, and the park is well-maintained. The backyard was equally enjoyable, with patio furniture and a quiet view of the tumbling creek rolling by. The front door combo lock was always a menacing threat. Hah. Our code did not work when first checking-in and we were worried we may be locked out after enjoying the nightlife on Day 3 … We were causally told that the combo may be changing at midnight earlier in the day. After a text message went unanswered, we made a quick phone call and we were reassured that the code would not change overnight. Crisis averted. Haha Would def book again and would recommend to anyone. Thank you.
Maria's is the best. Of the 2 or 3-dozen accommodations i've stayed at in Anchorage over the past 3-decades nothing compares. ~d
It was a wonderful stay. Quiet location. Room, bathroom and house were spotless. Breakfast was delicious and Maria is an excellent host. Thank you!
One of the cleanest most comfortable places I've ever been.
Beautiful property and wonderful God fearing people. Only problem is that the rooms are on the bottom floor, under the residence, and you can hear the foot steps above you until the owners have gone to sleep. Nothing that a pair of ear plugs couldnt fix though. Well worth the money.
Only negative was location - across from a high density apartment complex. But parking seemed secure and you never see it once inside. The view from inside is very nice, overlooking Campbell Creek and greenbelt. Midtown loaction is convenient.
Very friendly and accommodating with arriving late. Really clean and comfortable rooms.
Our room was very nice and roomy. Temperature was just right for us. Breakfast was very well presented and tasted delicious.
Very nice rooms, breakfast was excellent, Hosts were great. Good location - on the outskirts and quiet section of town. Would stay again.
Only stayed one night, but enjoyed it thoroughly. Hope to stay there again.
Moose salmon and may be even a bear the BnB was over the top and Pegging was the hostess of the most essential she welcomed us we felt like she was family. I go again and stay longer. OH AND SHE MAKES A GOOD BREAKFAST TOO.

We built the B&B. Floor Joists are 11 1/2" BCI. Floor ply is 1 1/8" 241 T&G with 3/4" Oak Flooring. Joists are 16" on center with a maximum span of 14'3 We installed sound insulation between the joists and utilized sound channels between the sheetrock and the joists.

The buildings across E 46th Avenue are Condominiums. Given the landscaping, parking and common areas, they hardly qualify as "high density". The owners are our neighbors and many are our friends. Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We look forward to seeing you again.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We will talk to the Condo association nearby about making the sign bigger that says "CONDOMINIUMS".
