The trip of a lifetime....

Maya; the host, was very sweet and even offered to get some groceries due to our very late arrival. She communicated very well. It was different meeting the host as I've never met a host at any of our other vacation rental homes. We weren't informed prior to arrival that the hot tub was and had not been working which is exactly the one reason we chose this property over others...it was very disappointing. The community is very nice and located perfectly to surrounding areas, airport and downtown Anchorage. The home was clean and looked newly repainted. The beds were okay. The showers were a little difficult to use at first-super sensitive to the hot and cold...but we figured it out fairly quickly. Overall it was a fine place to stay, but the hot tub situation was very disappointing as we would have made other arrangements had we known as there was another home we were looking into that was bigger and in the woods vs this one in a community which we typically prefer country homes. Anchorage is a beautiful place to vacation and we really made some amazing memories!
