Hilton Garden Inn Anchorage

It's your basic Hilton Garden Inn. Nice room and good breakfast (Not included in Orbitz rate). Close to the airport, but you might want to stay closer to downtown if you're in Anchorage for anything other than the airport.

We booked the room via orbitz.com. On the website there was just general descriptions about the room and we booked it. We were charged 200$/night, which was okay. However when we got the room. The room was for senior care and bathroom didn't have a tub or regular shower. When we complained, we were told since we booked cheapest room so this was the cheapest room available and if we want to switch to another room,we have to pay extan70$. However, when we checked online about other rooms none of them were that expensive. If they had mentioned, cheapest room is for senior care, we wouldn't have booked the room. Also they don't provide a single water bottled, you have to buy everything.

We always stay there everything has always be nice about the hotel, but this time we saw there we bed bugs in the room. We will never stay again.

Goodlication, breakfast is good, staff very friendly

This hotel is conveniently located in midtown and facilities are in good shape

less expensive than nearby hotels, but very comfortable and clean. Small restaurant for breakfast is convenient and better than continental breakfasts even though you have to pay.

At the front desk they advertise that each bed has a sleep number dial to adjust but ours did not. The mattress seemed comfortable at first but we spent the whole night rolling into each other and not able to stay on our sides because it sunk in the middle. Didn't get much sleep all night long

Ok For the price of this hotel you would at least expect to get a complimentary breakfast which all the other hotels in the same vicinity had that but no, we were informed about breakfast times but when we went to get some breakfast the banana was $2. WTH So we went to a store and got a banana for 50 cents. They bragged about their beds being amazing and that you could adjust the settings on both sides to be either firmer or softer. No matter how we adjusted the settings on the bed we would sink in on one spot so when you go to sleep your body is sunken in and you legs and head are on a firmer side to where we could not sleep and woke up with headaches. Also while relaxing at 8pm at night we get a call from the front desk asking us if we were checking out the next day (which if he would look at his screen he could see we were) and then asked how we planned out doing a feed back for the hotel. For one thing don't bother me at night for something like that while we are trying to kick back for the evening. You can do that during check out.

The hotel room looked like it came right out of the 70s. The bed seemed comfortable at first, but dipped in the middle, so it was very uncomfortable for two people. The staff was extremely rude, so I would not stay there again. And they charge you for everything? Want a coffee that's available via Keurig in your room? That'll be $2.00 sir.

Was a good room for the price. Pool shuts down too early; weekends should be later. 1030 was too early we had just gotten in from dinner. Beds were comfy and the shower was excellent. Will stay again.

They were doing some maintenance in the hotel. We even experience the water was cut for five hours. It was so disappointing .

beds were soft, laid my head on 3 pillows and my head crushed right thru to the mattress they were way too soft, same with mattress keurig coffee makers are made for people with knowledge, there should have been directions on use, not the mini diagram on the side of the pot also could not operate the microwave. Us older generation is not into all these fancy gadgets. otherwise, stay was nice, quiet, but maintenance and housekeeping were called 3 times and no one ever did show up. Finally went to Denny's to get coffee.

Standard Hilton property. Clean and well maintained.

It was a good hotel. I would stay there again. It was a good hotel. I would stay there again. It was a good hotel. I would stay there again. It was a good hotel. I would stay there again. It was a good hotel. I would stay there again.

Typical hotel but a bit more upscale. We live in-state and had to spend a few days in the big city. We would stay again. No real complaints.

Check in was quick.staff was polite.room very nice &clean.would recommend to friends.

Have stayed at this Hilton garden many times. Always friendly staff. Convenient shuttle service to midtown, downtown and the airport. Clean comfortable rooms. Im sure we will be back here next time through town.

This hotel provided all the amenities for a wonderful stay in Anchorage. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The onsite dining was great food and service. The pool and Jacuzzi provided a perfect end to my stay.

We arrived off a cruise ship airport transfer and the Hilton Garden Inn sent a shuttle out to the airport at 9:00 PM to pick us up in under ten minutes! The staff was extremely friendly and saw to our every need. On the recommendation from the hotel staff, we attended the Summer Soltice festival happening in downtown Anchorage. The Hilton Garden Inn then provided us with round trip transportation with their complimentary shuttle service. The Hilton Garden Inns staff and amenities made our stay most enjoyable!

Have stayed at this property a number of times and always am happy with the rooms and staff. Do wish the hotel was better located within mid-town but otherwise always consider this hotel as an option when seeking lodging in Anchorage.
