I stayed for just one night in Jan 2018. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. I had a small balcony with a view of the sea, and palace. I was very pleased with the location and amenities.
This classic hotel is so nice really with so nice spot, so nice view, nice beach, nice food, nice team, lovely rooms, Alexandria is nice at winter and hotel has many advantages at this time...in general lovely hotel

This hotel is situated in a good location. It is just across the road from the palace and Montazah Park. Breakfast had a good sekection of foods including omelettes. Our room was a good size and was very clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.
They tried to check me in a club room although my reservation was a deluxe room They checked me in a room with two small beds although my reservation was one queen bed Having breakfast is a challenge, you will have to be prepared for being pushed and try your best to get your food plate to your table without hitting someone. It is a circus talent The reception area is very small (5 or 6 tables) and there are always people sitting there. I had to take my friend out to sit somewhere I stayed for 2 nights. On the 2 nd day The key cards were not working as was the wifi and I had to go down to alert the staff to read, tivate the cards
Having a short trip to Alexandria, I booked my room in Sheraton Montazah. The hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Alexandria, yet it still stand glorious. The staff is very welcoming and professional. What is really great is the amazing view and proximity to Al Montazah Gardens. It is a real nice experience if you are looking for a classic place to stay.
Let chat service is really outstanding in this property , when I was hopeless as I forgot my charger in another hotel and had no way to contact them. I received a nice whatsapp text from the hotel asking how they can help me ,even before the check In, I was super happy about it , and more surprised by Ms Hend /Nawal service/professionalism/kindness for following up the lost item , and asking the front desk to call her when I arrived to extend me the good news. Perfect service from her .thank you so much .
I came to Alexandria on Jan 26th, 2018 to attend a wedding and decided to stay here. What a shame. What a shame and what a disgrace to call this once-amazing hotel 5 stars AND a Sheraton. I must first say that the staff were absolutely amazing and helpful and very friendly. That's about it. The hotel needs to be COMPLETELY renovated. It is ancient. The entrance door foggy not cleaned continuosly. The reception area run down. The carpets are begging to be replaced. The 3rd floor stinks. The minute you walk in from the elevator you are greeted with a dreadful smell you want to throw-up. The rooms are tiny. We had a triple room which is a double room with an extra bed!!!!!!!! The lady asked us if we wanted double beds or queen bed. We wanted double yet she still sent us to a queen bed room..I over heard her saying our original room was taken. She insisted I told her I wanted a queen bed. The rooms are run down There is only ONE electric outlet in the room. Seriously. The other is far away under the mirror.. The bathrooms are terrible. Although clean..yet simply run down. 5 star hotel with plastic toilet disposal combination? Really? Breakfast was poor. Very very poor. Full but poor. Honestly I would hate if the hotel manager answers this by saying they have reviewed my review and the appoligize. Simply because I don't need an appology. The hotel needs renovation quickly. It was fully booked so it's not like they are not making enough money. The parking. It is provided but rediculous. It is down a steep slope with one way direction outwards. So if you parked and need to pick up your family ftom the reception area.... or if you have luggage left at entrance...you need to take a drive around the hotel ftom the street outside..go back in hotel..wait for 10 cars infront of you to go in..pass through security again..then go into hotel. There is valet and bell boy of course..but if you have an older person with you..it is tough. No direct connection between parking and hotel..eg elevator or stairs as stairs are being renovated...seriously??? The club lounge. Tiny but cute. AMAZING staff. As I said before the staff are the best. Very very very very limited food selection. Hot platter served from 5-7 pm. Ours was chicken wings which was very good. Pool was closed instead of heated!!! I am now trying to find Sheraton to write them. And the hotel is quite expensive!! And I am seeing this is not the only terrible review the hotel is getting recently. Why don't they do something about it?
Highly recommended. Helpful and friendly staff Good breakfast Clean and comfortable rooms. House keeping at yr service any time. Expert staff and always smiling. Very good location. Sea view and partial sea view rooms is recommended. Thanks a lot for the staff which add to hotel value .
The location was more than perfect ,the staff are very friendly, the room was very comfortable with a very good view of the sea and El Monazah. On the other hand the breakfast was poor, cleanliness is not good "found a spot on my linen and not sure if it was dirt or blood". Other than that everything was just amazing
