Stayed there with my whole family for 3 nights at different types of suites (royal, imperial and family). Royal suite is similiar to the regular room except it's a bit bigger and has a Jacuzzi. The imperial and family suites were well furnished, comforable and generally good, although imperial suite 1 was bigger and had more facilities than imperial suite 3. Some of the wardrobes were smelly. Pressure of hot water was weak and no enough towels in the bathrooms. The sea view was far from the suites' terraces. The pool was in maintenance :( . Breakfast was ok. Staff were nice. Overall the suites (especially imperial suite 1 and family suite 4) are nice and the prices are reasonable, just don't have high expectations.
This place was my favorite for some time and I had some good memories about it, but recently it’s obvious that this place is deteriorating in every way. I spent a family weekend in there, starting 19-21 Jan. 2018. My frustration started from the moment I got to my bungalow that was dirty and had to call the house keeper to clean, the bungalow is for 4 guests but the bathroom had 2 towels and when we complained about that because we’re family of 4 she just added one more. The floor, bathroom, curtains and furnitures were worn out. Both TVs were not working because the remote controls had dead batteries. The four of us went for dinner in their Resturant and again they offered us 3 worn out menus and one of them missing the pages of the main entrees. The straying cats are taking over the place. I don’t know if the owner gave up on this hotel for the other 3 hotels he owns in Alexandria. All what I know is that visit will be the last one to that hotel till they do something about. The only positive thing that is surviving so far is the friendly staff.
We had booked online but didn’t bother checking in after seeing the state of the lobby and pool area. It needs more than renovating. It would be better to demolish and start again! The beach is nicer in this area than on the corniche but look for other hotels.
Well I will try my best to moderate my disappointment and be as fair as possible. So let’s start with the good; the hotel is good value for money I reserved 4 rooms with a really good price also staff are polite, helpful, and useful -except for a couple of guys who works at the beach-. Also, the location is excellent for the area. The breakfast was acceptable and -the chef was really polite I enjoyed the omelettes she made. The bad is that the hotel is hardly four stars -may be it was at a certain point- It is actually more of an average of 2 stars at certain areas and 4 stars at others. Old rooms with horrible level of maintenance. Room service is kinda non-existent in some cases. You can see staff watching TV and talking really loud and some cases cursing at each other. Sometimes totally unprofessional sometimes really friendly. Zero discipline. The ugly is i’v never had a chance to see this number of cats in a single place. Adding insult to injury is that it was their mating season. I spent two days watching cats chase each other all over the hotel either next to the pool or the restaurant and sometimes on the roof of my room doing their thing. At one incident a cat went inside one of the rooms and helped itself with a sandwich and then relaxed on the bed for sometime. I remember I was kidding with my family throughout the trip whether we should rate this hotel in cats rather than stars which would be hilariously more accurate!!!!!
Hotel is very nice with good location which is make us feel bad about how they dont renew it and care about it , staff friendly and the food is nice and delicious but not in breakfast they have also bar name sky yakht which in the morning very nice and the staff there is nice but in the night is very very bad load music and the speaker is broken and even the music very bad so i wish from the management there to takecare about this place for me to the hotel 4 stars but for the bar zero .
I stayed there for only one night. Although I booked through booking.com a sea view room but I found it pool view. Staff are so friendly and their behavior were excellent at all times but at first it is not a resort with its meaning. Also it is NOT **** stars hotel. It may equal only 1 star. Every thing needs to be renewed. Really I could hardly to stay the night . I would never go back.
I stayed in this hotel for two nights and it was great. Next to the beach, staff were very polite and helpful. We got welcome snacks and the pools were lovely. Breakfast could have more western choice. some of the furniture needed upgrading and a coat of paint would not have gone amiss. 30mins taxi drive to town. Overall a pleasant experience.
Everything is seriously damaged and in hard need of repair. Not only is cleanliness horrible, but also everything is old. That's not to say it's got a nice old-timey feel to it. It's got a feel of wanting to be thrown out and replaced. The hotel places pictures online that are nothing like the reality and my wife and I were promptly fooled. Throw onto that the breakfast buffet (great variety, horrible food) with cats roaming around, pouncing on tables, and stealing food, and you've got yourself a great reason to leave the hotel and head to downtown Alex. Unfortunately, that's OVER AN HOUR's drive away since the short path recommended by Google Maps when we were checking out the hotel goes through private streets. Going to just stay in and watch a movie? Too bad you can't, since WiFi is only available in public areas.
The place is not good at all for making a wedding. The dishes were not clean at all and the food was not good. The music was arranged by others that is that is why it was good. They did not give towels in a friend room, no iron, the bathroom was average, the phone was not working and to call the reception you have to go and see them.
Nice and warm hotel but need more enhancements . it depends only on the potions and being in Elmamoura but it can have many advantages more . stuff are friendly and the food is ok . the beach is amazing ofcourse . wish to visit it again .
