My family of 4, my brother’s family of 5 and my mom rented this house over Christmas and it was perfect. 5 adults and 5 kids ages 12-19. There was plenty of space for us - the best being that the kids had their own living space downstairs with their bedrooms and a common area with a mini kitchen and a ping pong table and foosball table (that converted to a small pool table). Krissia was really responsive to my questions before the trip and during it. The house had recent renovations before our arrival, and there was a minor plumbing issue that resulted in very little water pressure. We had a moment of panic on Christmas Eve morning when we couldn’t shower. Krissia responded right away, we made a temporary solution and then she sent her contractors over that day. ON CHRISTMAS EVE. I’m so grateful for that bc that would have been a disaster. She owns the house nextdoor and she lives nearby. The house was clean, comfy and everything was labeled in the kitchen. They left a duralog out on the fire pit. Such nice details. The neighborhood is fine with 236/Duke St. being really close. I went for a run and felt safe, and there’s a neighborhood pool and a middle school nearby, meaning there are options to get kids out and get them moving. There’s also a huge backyard. Bring a football or soccer ball! If we do this trip again I would 100% rent from here again.
