Home away from home

Very comfy B&B. Good spread of breakfast options which is included in the room rate. Friendly hosts. Only issue we had was that our room is rather stuffy as it was a hot day and there wasn’t any fan or air conditioner.

The hosts very nice and provided free wine and port and cake and biscuits. Breakfast was also included. The property is an older property and is converted into it's present use. It does have a certain charm about it.

An extremely beautiful guest house. Nikki was an excellent host, so helpful and lovely. My kids enjoyed her cupcakes during afternoon tea. The room was gorgeous overlooking the massive garden behind the house and bed was very comfortable 👍

Beautiful historic inn. The room shown on the listing is the one we stayed in, and it was as lovely and spacious as the photo indicates. Our hosts were warm, friendly and helpful to two Yanks who needed guidance around what to see and do in the Albany region. Lovely place, great value, and we would happily stay there again!

Elliot House is a lovely old building so if you want glitz and glamour dont go here. If you want tranquil gardens, charming hostesses and period surroundings then don't miss it. Continental breakfast was served in the dining room where you get to chat to other travellers. It is out of town (10 min drive) but worth it.
