Adirondack Region Vacation Packages

So we’ve always liked staying here although the rooms are dated. The convenience of the pool, deck and being on the lake is really nice…however, I got hung up on by the lady at the front desk Saturday morning for complaining there was a mouse in our room. She gave me an attitude when I asked how long it'll take for maintenance guy to come. She then yelled that she doesn’t know, I then asked her why she's being nasty and she said she's not and then began being argumentative. Not once apologizing for the mouse in my room. I asked her who’s she’s getting loud with and she then hung up the phone on my face... then I called back three more times after being hung up on and she would just pick up the phone and hang up each time without even saying hello. Just pick up and hang up, insanity. Her behavior was really disgusting. Then I thought to myself why am I even going to bother carrying on with this low life? So I just let it go, I didn't want it to ruin our LDW family vacation. Also, there’s no locks on room doors, so my little kids were opening the doors and running out the front room. How is there not a safety latch for children? Literally, the lock opens once you turn the handle. I even asked that same lady about locking the front door and she told me no one has ever complained about that, which I find very hard to believe because every family we were with had said the same thing. We had to barricade our doors so that our kids wouldn't get out. All other staff were nice

Nearly everything was perfect! The grounds are meticulously curated and well tended to, there's not a bad shot/view from anywhere on the resort--just plain gorgeous. The perfect place to relax in style. One thing worth mentioning (not sure if this is due to Covid restrictions) but the restaurant doesn't serve breakfast or lunch and didn't open until 5 PM, with a toddler in tow it was a bit inconvenient having to rough it until dinner, but other than that this place is def a 5 out of 5. No need to fly to the Carribean if this place is within a days drive for you!
