Winderful place. Great staff. Lake Placid lost power for close to 18 hours. Staff went outnif their way to make us comfortable and provide meals and things to do. Only complaint was that there was a hot tub but no jets in main hotel. Had to use the Lake House for a a hit tub with jets

Perfect location on west end of Main Street in Lake Placid. Olympic arena is on other end but shops on on West end. Clean Hotel. Walls a little thin could hear other people thought it might be an issue but never heard anyone during the night. Large rooms and Bathroom with TV speaker in the bathroom. Had indoor Pool and Hot Tub, Not a Jacuzzi that would have been nicer. No one in Pool area even though Hotel was full. No all day free coffee available but I asked and they got me a cup for free which was great and Noticed. Did offer free champagne at check in but I did Decline that. I had originally booked a different Hotel and glad I change to this one it was worth the extra.

Very good location, staff, lobby. Rooms are clean and spacious.

We enjoyed our stay because it was close to a lot of restaurants and the Olympic training facility. I found the people in the area very friendly and nice.

We enjoyed a waterfront collection room. The room was very nice, the bathroom was amazing. The couch in the room was very uncomfortable though. We even had a sliding glass door out to the lake and outdoor pool. Seems how it was winter we had to go to another building for a pool but it was worth it because we had the hive whirlpool and pool to ourselves.

It was a very nice hotel in a great location. The rooms were pleasant, the staff was very accommodating.

Nice hotel, good location. Our room comfortable and quite. My only complaint was that the bathroom door was a slider with a large gap, steam.. smells, etc will travel.

We loved it one of the best place's we've stayed in

We booked a balcony room and did not get it. The reason was Orb according to the hotel always over books. So no refund, not the room we wanted and will never use orb or this resort again

The room was very modern and clean. Great location and associated food. Nice hot tub. Some of the rooms do not have great wifi reception but otherwise a surprisingly great experience.

We booked a deluxe upscale “Waterfront collection king find the peace and privacy you seek” eleven months before. Upon arrival, at 4:00 PM (hotels check in time), we were given the keys to a horrible first floor room with a parking lot directly above. The room was noisy, dank and directly faced a busy and very noisy access hotel entrance door directly in front of the rooms sliding glass door (was less than 5 feet away with two converging paths). The access door was used for access to the pool, beach and rest rooms. This was definitely the complete opposite of the beautiful waterfront collection photographs on the hotels website. I would be glad to send photographs as evidence. When I told the front desk that we needed to check into another hotel because the hotel was fully booked, they gave us another room, after a long wait, which was acceptable but not what we wanted and paid for. In addition, unlike other hotel guests who were attending a nearby wedding, we had to ask for a wedding gift arrival package the following day.

The service from the staff is exelent The room was clean end convinced

Accommodations were superb. We stayed in a waterfront room and enjoyed the stay.

I travel for a couple of days to Lake Placid to visit some family. We came all the way from Puerto Rico. The hotel location is great, is located in the corner of main st. where all the restaurants, bars and retail stores are located. You can feel like home there, the room was everything we where expecting.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the High Peaks Resort. Great Customer Service! Spacious rooms with wonderful decor. Walking distance to shops. We would stay here again.

Went here with my girlfriend for a few days. The lake view rooms give you a great view with access to paddle boats and kayaks. Would definitely book here again.

Clean, comfortable. Nicely furnished, good location right in town. Would definately stay again!

Cool location right by mirror lake shoreline. Room was nice and had all the amenities. The outdoor pool was very close and enjoyable.

Dear David, Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback! We hope we'll have the privilege of welcoming you back for a return visit! Because we are still seeing moderate temperatures our lobby's word-burning fireplace is not automatically lit as we do not want our guests to be too warm when enjoying the lobby. That being said, if you would like to enjoy a crackling fire, we hope we'll request a member of our team set and light a fire. We will most happily accommodate your request! Warm Regards, Matthew General Manager
